McCain was my biggest disappointment as candidate also, but make no mistake - the Obama victory means NO thing good, and a world of dangerous bad.

In August he ran a suprisingly good conservative campaign and I was almost was tempted to send money but I always said see how he acts under stress, and his true phony self came out as I predicted, changing themes every week, cowardly supporting the bailout, then when it was too late throwing Ayers around.

He wanted to win OK. But he was a phony who had to constantly play to us conservatives because we couldnt trust him. BoB could act like a moderate because his base trusted him, so he remained consistent. Voters believed Obama over McCain on tax cuts. McCain just looked too phony. And if someone had to go down in 2008, let it be him.

McCain is not a fiend to conservatives. He can always be countesd on to undermine the principles of conservatism.

I still admire many things about the man though. He is truely a great man and a great American.

He is sooo blinded by the concept of bi-partisanship though that he will sell his soul over and over again.

He is not a leader that this nation needs. He may be better then any democrat today but he is only then the less of two evils.

Some one should start a drive to get him kicked out of the Republican party, the RNC called here a couple of weeks for a donation, I told them they could just take my name off their list as long as McCain is a member of the party and I meant it. Have gotten a lot of family and friends to do the same.
