[UPDATE]: 11:26 AM - Dec. 12 2008 : Rumors of a decision denying Cort’s application are unequivocally false. A SCOTUS Spokesperson just told Cort Wrotnowski there has been no decision. She indicated there will be no decision until Monday. The conference is sealed, no clerks are allowed in.]

Did SCOTUS release any info on other cases accepted or dismissed?
As a lawyer who has practiced in the Federal District Courts and has seen his share of legal pleadings, and knows a fair amount about the SCOTUS and its procedures - this has no chance of impacting anything. Pure wheel spinning.
Nothing as of this time that I see....
Whatever comes out of today’s “conference,” I don’t believe this issue is over either way. There are other cases as well.

Coupled with legitimate concerns about even the eligibility of Mr. Obama to serve (I personally won't accord him the title of President of the United States until such time as he makes all of his documentation clear), this "administration" is getting off to a very rocky start.

Bush and the Bush Administration wants nothing to do with this issue, Vice President Cheney wants nothing to do or say about this issue, McCain and his previous campaign wants nothing to do with this issue, Governor Palin wants nothing to do with this issue and is looking forward to working with Obama, the Republican Party wants nothing to do with this issue, even Rush Limbaugh wants nothing to do with this issue, many other conservative websites want nothing to do with this issue, many here on Free Republic want nothing to do with this issue — and (of course) — the Democrats want nothing to do with this issue, along with Obama wanting nothing to do with this issue. Even the FBI wants nothing to do with it...

I hear you Star...but i hope we don’t give up because that’s what they want us to do...right now if you believe in the issue of the BC, you are considered a looney...and that really pisses me off...the supreme court wants to wash thier hands of this because they are afraid of the press they would get if they took it...i’m glad that this stuff about Blago is coming out right now though...it’s adding more fuel to the fire of Obama being wolf in sheep’s clothing. i truly believe the truth will come out...it’s just a question of how long it will take and what has to happen in order for it to.
Is it that they don't care about the constitutional requirements for the presidency, or that they don't care about the Constitution in general?
So far the word is mum from SCOTUS on any case they discussed today.

I firmly believe that Obama has paid operatives, who troll blogs, chat-rooms, etc. They also instantly respond to youtube videos and flag any bad press as inappropriate. Chilling stuff.
The CERTIORARI GRANTED list just came out about 2 minutes ago. Wrotnowski case is not there. It’s a tough case for SCOTUS to take, but we’ll have to wait for Monday to see.
