Clinton Supporter and Jewish Kappo Martin Indyk Has a message of Warning for Israel:
Israel can no longer expect "blank cheques" from Washington once president-elect Barack Obama's administration takes over in January, a former US ambassador to the Jewish state said on Sunday.
"The era of the blank cheque is over," said Martin Indyk, director of the Centre for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institute who is considered close to incoming secretary of state Hillary Clinton.

If this message is the true position of Obammie’s Commies, what a stupid thing to announce as Islamic militancy begins to rear its ugly head again now that a fighter is leaving the White House.
The Jews who supported and voted for 0bama did this to Israel. No reason to whine about it now.
That was when AIPAC was the only Jewish game in town. Now they have J-Street of which Soros approves.
Maybe this will force Israel to become something of her former self again, and she'll rise up and strike the Islamists some lethal blows without needing America to hold her hand.
The free world needs at least one real leader!!
Get over it.
Obama is definitely not a poker player. Expect everyone from Damascus to Tehran to Jerusalem to Carcas to Moscow to be calling his bluffs.
It would be interesting to see the Obama admin try this tactic with Israel and then Israel somehow defy it. The fact is, Israel is able to stand on its own vis a vis Iran—and even with much of the Muslim world that surrounds it. The idea of Israel being the orphan child of the USA, the 51st state, etc., is leftie rhetorical “truth,” not fact. Of course it would be far easier if the US would help Israel with any fight but does Israel actually NEED the US to win....? In the end, I say it does not.
I would LOVE to see a politically strengthened Israel go ahead and call an Obama admin bluff. What is Obama gonna do about it, exactly? He planning to INVADE Israel? You talk about handing Sarah Palin a can’t lose issue for 2012, you know, I say, “Go ahead, (alienate Israel) make my day.”
maybe Rush should be talking about Leo donofrio’s case instead of praising Obama and Rham Emmanuel. 78% of American Jews obviously did not feel Israel is not that important. They pray at the altar of liberalism.
“The Jews who supported and voted for 0bama did this to Israel. No reason to whine about it now.”
You are so right. No offense against the mentally challenged, but even the brain dead could see this coming. What a fine characteristic elitist self-loathing is, eh?
But Obama LOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEES ISRAEL, there’s no way he would do anything to harm it in any way. He’s the greatest supporter of Israel ever to take the White House. Yes siree. Just keep saying that when the bombs fall on Tel Aviv, and the arabs war against Israel in about three years time.
I keep saying it. American Jews seem to think Israel has absolutely nothing to do with them. Odd. More afraid of Governor Palin, a devout Christian than of the Muslim sympathizer, radical Hussein Obama. Here’s a newsflash; Hitler was not a Christian.
So much for support of Israel from Hillary. I wonder if all the DEMOCRAT Jews will be happy with her about face ..??
And .. get ready .. because if that message is being passed on to Israel now .. they will be hitting Iran before Obama takes office .. whether or not Bush agrees to join them or give them free passage over Iraq.
Also .. if you check American History - you will find that every time a USA president DID NOT SUPPORT ISRAEL .. America suffered the most.
Remember what God told Isaiah - “I will bless those who bless Israel”. If God withdraws his blessing from America .. we will be in real trouble.
As a jew who voted for Mccain i can’t believe the amount of my jewish friends who voted for Obama claiming he’d be great for Israel.
When did Israel ever get a blank check?
You might want to find his photo somewhere on the 'Net and try to ID him.
(Amb.) Indyck, from memory, was raised in Australia, the child of Holocaust escapees.
