I was wondering how long it would take before we had a thinker say something. Too many FReepers enthusiastically jumped in to support Juan McCain to convince me that they all will support Sarah. There’s still some socialists in this forum, IMO.

I was impressed with her, I like her, but you're right. We've yet to hear her talk about anything beyond energy, really. I want someone who can effectively defend and explain the need for secure borders. Thats not just anyone.

However, how much of this enthusiastic support was due to Palin? Is it entirely possible that some sided with the devil they knew (McCain/Palin) than the devil they didn't (Hussein)?
