Listen, I like Sarah as much as anyone. When she talks about Trig and pro-life, and energy and Alaska issues, she is tops. But did you see the Couric interviews? Sarah can’t compete in the big leagues without doing LOTS more homework—more than she has time to do between now and 2011, when the race starts. Part of the reason we all rallied behind her is because we had no choice, and the leftists were beating up on her. But she is miserably uninformed on the issues compared to, say, Jindal and Romney, who are ready to run today. Please tell your friends who are supporting her to quit!

Yes...any liberal who gave her answers would have been FRIED by FReepers. I'd MUCH rather she spent the time catching up on things, rather than going out and sounding like a broken record on energy again, letting liberals marginalize conservatives even further.

And I admit, I was one of the folks pushing for her nomination waaay back, before we even had a nominee.

But if she decides to go the route of a serious campaign on the energy issue, she shouldn't kick it off now...she should wait til spring, when prices will soon be rising again.

When did Couric become the “big league”?
I know Couric. Couric is no big league. Couric is as empty headed as the rest of them.
Gov Plain is a heck o a lot more informed and has vastly more executive experience, and us far more qualified to be president then Comrade Obama, let alone Couric.

But she is miserably uninformed on the issues compared to, say, Jindal and Romney”

What issues are those? The issues where clueless clowns like Obama have no clue what affects the bread and butter issues that face ordinary in their day to day lives?

Please tell your friends who are supporting her to quit!”

No.
You tell your pals that have climbed aboard the vicious MSM effort to drag Gov Palin down, to stop it.

It wasn't so much preparation as much as frustration, IMHO. Do you really think Palin can't name news publications she reads. Palin just needs to check her temperment and understand all these MSM people want to do is destroy her.

which issues would those be? And being informed on an issue doesn't mean one understands that issue or would make intelligent decisions regarding that issue.

Please tell your friends who are supporting her to quit!

Your guitar strings are wound too tight.

“Jindal and Romney, who are ready to run today. “

Jindal looks great but Romney is no conservative, a man who’s goal is to end “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and wants homosexuals to serve “openly and honestly” in our military is not conservative.

Watching videos of him in debates like this one tells you why he could not win his one and only shot at winning a primary, even after spending 150 million dollars in ads to repackage himself.

The secret is that many in the elite liberal higher polishing, speech consultants. That’s all she needs to do. I think she could stand to get another degree. I don’t think she likes school so that is probably out of the window.

I don't know who will end up being the best candidate, but it may well be Sarah Palin. She's not a lawyer, so she may not be the most well-informed on questions of constitutional law. But the president of the United States is an executive position.

The point of an executive is that they are capable of selecting and directing the right people to do what needs to be done. Whether she's familiar with particular Supreme Court cases is really irrelevant, if she has that executive capability.

The other thing is that the candidate must be able to be elected. While Bobby Jindal is a bright, capable guy, he does not appear to have the ability to connect with people like Sarah Palin does.

I'd be happy to support either Palin or Jindal, or another candidate who is actually conservative. It's too early to count anyone out, really.

***No Freeping Way. If you are basing your knowledge of her based upon the cutup job done by Couric, you haven’t the slightest idea what you’re talking about.
