Feeling a lot like Captain von Trapp

Usually around this time of year the Sound of Music comes on television. I don't know how many times I've seen it. This year I have a special affinity for Captain von Trapp. He was so disgusted, so alienated, so melancholy as he watched helplessly as the Austria he knew and loved so much succumb to the New Order of the Third Reich. Yes, I can relate this. I feel much the same way about my own country these days.

Yes, before long we will be ripping the Obama communist rising sun symbol off of our garages after the browsuits hang it there. My favorite scene in that movie is when the nuns disable the Nazi’s cars.

I'm more worried about the college civil service yoots blowing the whistle on me as I try to escape. I have several of these types all around me. They are like robots in a wild daze. You can spot them a mile away.

Sadly I read this post with the identical feelings. No longer can we look to the other countries in disbelief, it is now US!!
