Karl Rove was born in Colorado, Dick Cheney in Nebraska, George Bush in Connecticut. George Bush Sr. was born in the Northeast as well.
I know Texas, I’mma native of this great Republic, I have had many friends from Texas.....these boy’z are no way no how from Texas.
You can stand in the middle of a parking garage...it don't make ya an automobile.
Bush may put a Stetson on his head, but don't make’em a Texan.
Trust me on this one......if Bush was a true Texan, he’da shut down that border so damn tight it'll make a mans head swim.
Far as I'm concerned, he’z overstayed his welcome.
That’s like me stating that Schwarzenegger is not a Californian. Bush served two terms as the governor of Texas. Sorry bud, your facts are just fine, but you spin is DOA. This man was elected on his performance as governor of Texas. If you folks didn’t think he did a good job, you should have screamed bloody murder so we all could have opposed him. I did, but it sure wasn’t easy with everyone clamoring to have him. And I must say, there were a whole lot of Texans just pleased as punch to let us know how wonderful the Bush’s were prior to 2000.
Gak!
I agree with you GWB is not a Texan no matter how he puts on. But Scott McClelland, Harrriet Miers and Alberto Gonzales as well as Rove, he brought to the White House from Austin. Whether they were born in Texas I don’t know. One may have been born in Mexico for all I know. They were cronies that came to the White House from Texas. I love Texas, my brother lives there, I winter there and my niece was born there but it is not perfect, I still remember LBJ.
All the Crawford crap of cutting mesquite trees and riding around in a jeep is over. Glad he is not my neighbor.
I think of what might have been had GWB just been a conservative, not a weasel “compassionate conservatively.” Sad and Mad. GOP has to quit running RINOs and old men (Dole and McCain.)
