Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife Rivki were murdered, along with three other hostages, at the Chabad community center which they ran in Mumbai. And as much as I am hurting over their deaths, I am more devastated by the scope of the terror (over 160 dead and more than 350 wounded) than the fact that among them was a rabbi.
Even the fact that some appear to have been targeted because they were Jews does not make me so profoundly angry and sad. What is going on in Mumbai is bigger than that. And while I appreciate that fellow-blogger, Rod Dreher, focuses our attention on those victims who were probably killed because of their religion, that is not the point upon which to focus today. Nor is any broadside about Islamic Terrorism. Why? I'll tell you.

That made no sense. Was he trying to make a point? I didn’t see one. Just one long ramble.
Just a load of babble.... he seems to be saying “don’t form any judgments for a few days, at least” which in reality means he wants to say to people “nothing to see here, let’s move along” since most of the sheeple won’t think about the implications of Islamo-fascist terrorism at all unless they think about it while the massacres are on the news.
Never heard of the guy before, but he strikes me as someone who wants people to simply grieve then forgive..... no sense of the political and international context within which such terrorism operates.
Is there evidence that people were killed because they were Jews? I did read where some were spared b/c they were Muslim.

If we had yanked the oil weapon away years ago and focused vociferously on the vicious hatred within Islam, which it, alone of all major religions, harbors and nurtures, we might have avoided this massacre. As it is we need to do these things now and stop stalling. We cannot win this war be refusing to confront reality because of O I L.
What we see is a perfect example of liberal anti-semitism. If a Jew dies, its no big deal.
Then to make it worse, the idiot who wrote this hopes it will all just go away. You cannot trust a liberal to ever defend the country or fight crime.
A liberal would rather fight to deny free speech (Fairness Doctrine) than fight a terrorist. Terrorists are just a part of the world, there is nothing we can do to stop it. BUT that pastor preached that Homosexuality is a sin, so he must go to jail.
Liberals are pathetic to the point of being evil.
Many liberals still think that terrorism is rare. That haven’t got a clue what’s going on out there. Entire peoples have been wiped off the face of the Earth by Islamos in the past 30 years.
