This week, newscasters reported that al Qaeda's #2 terrorist disparaged the election of Barack Obama, and hurled racial slurs at Obama himself. "The report has not been confirmed by the State Department," they all said, but they reported it anyway. Last week, Fox News reporter Carl Cameron told viewers that three "anonymous" insiders of Sen. McCain's campaign said that Sarah Palin was, in essence, a diva and a dunce. He - and dozens of others who picked up the story on other channels - never identified, or even verified, the sources of the quotes, but they reported them anyway. Contrast these shabby examples of "journalism" with the legions of identifiable, verifiable and credible sources who for months have been investigating the disturbing allegation that Barack Obama is ineligible for the presidency because he has failed to meet one of the three requirements that the U.S. Constitution mandates, specifically that he provide proof of his "natural born" U.S. citizenship. What follows is a partial list of people and organizations that have challenged Obama's eligibility. Further on I will comment on how egregious the media's failure to cover this story has been. And last, I will speculate on the reason for the cover-up of this full-blown scandal.

The problem with this is that if there is a cover up, which there has been to date without doubt, then he will simply get away with it.

I remember Rush just kinda brushing it off before the election saying the Democrats wouldn’t dump The One over this.
I think the BC controversy is why Howard Dean high-tailed his DNC chair shortly after the election.
It might have been like a giant game of chicken. Maybe everyone assumed that Hillary would get the dem nomination and so they didn't want to look like bad guys and start attacking Obama. When Obama DID get the nomination, well, they figured, someone of his limited experience will never beat McCain. When he "won", why then it's like...nuts...if we spill the beans there's going to be riots.
If the whole bc thing is true, I'm not sure what way it will go, but I'm not too optimistic that there's a whole lot of people left in power that care too much about the constitution.

Rush really is the "King"! Of course I have my problems with him, but don't count him out at all. I'd actually look to him to go with this before, say, Powerline, Hot Air, Little Green Footballs ...and any of the big half-dozen radio talk shows and ALL of Fox TV. I do have just a gut huntch Drudge has antenna way up thanks to his freindly (still right?) relation w/ Coulter, who I think would be the first to mention, is on par w/ Rush (I have NOT heard of her making mention- just that she is similarly confident as Rush). After all Ann is the "Queen" (sorry Laura, Michelle-tho MM DID have early posting of the COLB study by techdude off Atlas Shrugs)! Oh and I didn't spell “WHO” right. drat.
Just because he has a Hawaiian birth certificate doesn't mean that he was actually born there. The state of Hawaii issues birth certificates to the children of Hawaiian residents regardless of the location of that baby's birth, foreign or not.

This birth certificate business, this lawsuit that a guy named Philip Berg filed in Philadelphia in August for Obama to produce his genuine birth certificate and he still hasn’t replied. You’ve got a deathly ill grandmother, you are going to rush to her side a few days from now, when you first announced this, you’re going to rush, you’re going to hurry, you’re going to make tracks, you’re going to get over there because you don’t want your grandmother to die before you got there like your mother did, but somehow you keep campaigning, you take three days to get over there, if he’s left yet, and this birth certificate business, I’m just wondering if something’s up. I have no clue, and folks, I’m telling you, this has not reached the threshold until now, and it’s popping up all over the place. There are a lot of people now that are starting to speculate and be curious about this.
I don’t know, let’s say for example that somebody does come up with proof that something’s screwy with his birth certificate and something’s screwy about the fact that he’s allegedly a natural citizen, American citizen, but may not be, dual citizenship, born in Kenya, who knows, there’s all kinds of stuff out — so what? How do we know that President Bush didn’t send word to many Islamic countries and others who possess nuclear/chem and biological weapons, that he would ‘massively’ retaliate if our country was hit again? He did say that you are either ‘with us or against us’ in public. We haven’t been hit again on US soil during his watch.
I have wondered during this financial crisis a few times if we were being ‘blackmailed’ in some way....but I don’t believe there are suitcase nukes in the country as part of the scenario. Before the first Gulf War, Baker was sent to the middle east to get word to Saddam, that if WMDS were used on our troops, that the US would annihilate Iraq completely.
My biggest disappointment in President Bush has been his total lack of fight or real push back against the democrats/media and their corruption and treasonous behavoir for the last 8 years. There is no explaining it or imho, forgiving it at this point. I think that is why his approval numbers are so low on our side. We wanted him to fight back and he never did.
No, we haven't been hit again but how do we know that many of the mosques aren't arsenals --they can't be inspected or even spoken of as suspicious! Madness!!
Don’t get me wrong, i understand your frustration with some of Bush’s stances and political correctness. The only counter balance I was offering in my post to you concerns your question of whether we are being blackmailed by Islamists with suitcase nukes, etc.
BTW...our FBI was compromised long before Bush ever took the oath of office my FRiend.
Just remember that we don’t know what is going on behind the scenes and there is a reason we have not been attacked again. I believe that President Bush is a big reason why we have not.
Now with Obama coming in and the democrats taking full charge, our country will not be so well-protected, none of the mosques or foreigners will be allowed to be under survellience, our borders will be flung open wider, our economic collapse is assured, our military budget will be cut, our taxes will go up, our schools will become even worse breeding grounds of marxism, our liberties will be threatened, abortion will be rampant, marriage will become nothing sacred,the list goes on and on.
In view of that unfolding future, I am just not interested in Bush bashing.
TWO decades of Bush-Clinton-Bush, seamless. Musical chairs, with the last man standing is 'it'. He played the game, he gets the blame. He was willing, he accelerated the process. Bush-bashers are not necessarily unpatriotic or extreme rightwing, even that name is questionable now.
We have 3 branches of government as you know. There were many laws that came before George Bush ever took office that he is duty bound to follow. The President does not make the laws...Congress does.
I understand your frustrations but there is plenty going on behind the scenes to protect this country that you and I will never know about. Bottom line...we have not been attacked again since 911.
We will not be so well protected when Obama and the dems take control. Mark my word.
