It goes far beyond this. The mufti was the commander of Waffen SS Muslim troops in the Balkans and they are responsible for killing a multitude of Serbs and Jews. During Israel’s War of Indepedance in 1948 many of these guys were recruited and fought against Israel making it the last war that Nazi troops took to the field. So you had the actual leader of the Palestinian Arabs a Waffen SS commander and he passed the mantle to his nephew Arafat. The mufti visited Auschwitz and was not happy — they are going too slow, he said.
