I think you are correct in the figures, but do you believe Hillary would not find a way to force another ballot? Find another rule? Find a state court to rule her way? She has been counting those votes since spring.
My only concern about this whole citizenship issue is that I can not believe she would not have used it during the primary, if she had a way to prove it. I imagine her team is watching and planning now.
You did not mention the time before the electors vote. The DNC may control that period of time.
After Inauguration is another time frame to consider. I have read the rules on that too. Congressional authority seems clear.

Do you think a Democrat would want to be the one to pull the rug out from under him before the General election. It would have cost the party 20% of their base. This way it becomes a matter of which Democrat will replace him. They can spend the next 4 years making up for the need to uphold the Constitution.
