Just How Did Obama Get Elected The 44th President Of The United States?
On November 4th, 2008 millions of Americans were shocked that a man of Barack Obama’s limited experience, extreme liberal positions and radical political alliances could be elected President of the United States. For many of these Americans, the explanation was rather simple… the news media, completely enamored with Obama, simply refused to do their job.
On Election day twelve Obama voters were interviewed extensively right after they voted to learn how the news media impacted their knowledge of what occurred during the campaign. These voters were chosen for their apparent intelligence/verbal abilities and willingness to express their opinions to a large audience. The rather shocking video below seeks to provide some insight into which information broke through the news media clutter and which did not.

This is what keeps me pessimistic deep down inside about our country’s future. For the next four years state run television will spin everything to look like hearts and flowers. Any shortcomings will be blamed on hangover from Bush. And the mindless masses will eat it up whole.

The masses have been programmed by the “Media Matrix” of left wing thought, we are fighting against schools, colleges, movies, music and pop culture of all sorts.
We must have a vastly superior message to still be able to get 47%, if we didn’t have a moron running we would have gotten over 50%.
McCain is running again in 2010, if a conservative comes up in the primary we must make McCain RINO public enemy number one. I’ll go to work for ACORN in Arizona if a conservative challenges McCain in the primary.

I know more about what's going on than most of the media heads because I take the time to read these sites. They actually convey useful information. The value of Free Republic in conveying information on almost a real time basis can't be underestimated. This site should be a national treasure of information (when its not being hacked by the Left). Plus the zippy comments from readers is highly entertaining and thought provoking!

Ignorance IS NOT A DEFENSE. There are PLENTY of alternative sources to research something or someone, but you have to lose the ‘I don’t give a sh*t who wins’ attitude(and probably learn to read?). One of the most critical aspects of maintaining a republic is the desire of the electorate to actually find out about the person running for office.
