Prosecutors said Jilani told police her assailant beat her with a pistol about 8:30 p.m. Oct. 9 after she entered a washroom in the Schaible Science Center, where the masked man had scribbled racial slurs on the walls.
One week earlier, she reported finding anti-Muslim slogans and a swastika written inside of her locker. She said the incident prompted her to speak at the Oct. 9 diversity rally, where she read a poem advocating peace and understanding despite the actions against her.
A former Nicholls State University student was arrested by federal agents in Mississippi in connection with threatening electronic messages sent to students at Nicholls and other schools through a popular networking Web site.Hart is a 355-pound former defensive lineman.
Dyron Hart, 19, of Poplarville, Miss., who was arrested Wednesday, allegedly told investigators he wanted to create a “reaction” when he sent Facebook “friends” across three states a message stating he planned to kill 3,000 people, including them, in the wake of Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential victory Nov. 4.
The messages were sent early Nov. 5.
The message recipients, like Hart, are black. But authorities said he gave the impression in the messages, sent under another name, that he was white.

We haven’t forgotten, especially since that episode got more media coverage than all lefty fakes put together, and we can count on every media-conformist dipweed on the planet to bring it every time such an incident occurs for the next hundred years, no matter how many cases of leftist fakery occur every year in the meantime. The latter are literally a daily occurrence and appear to be a calculated part of activist strategy on their side. Who is going to police THEM?

It does explain a lot and it a crucial consideration. The woman in Pittsburgh was a political fringe dweller, almost an infiltrator, working for the McCain campaign but very, very far from its actual positions.
In contrast, the lefties who fake these things are in the very heart of the leftist mainstream, consciously trying to reinforce the standard claims they make in their activist careers.
Ask yourself this:
What legislative purpose were these lefty perpetrators trying to advance with these fake attacks?
The answer is simple: It stengthens the case for more hate-crime and thought-control legislation, the holy grail of left-wing activism.
Now, what legislative purpose was advanced by the fake attack in Pittsburgh?
None at all, the woman was a garden-variety kook seeking attention and acting out her personal issues.

But, but, it’s our duty as conservatives to call attention to our side’s lone faker. It’s part of being righteous and evenhanded. You know, honorable to the end as we go down with the ship and all that.
This is a great idea! We need a central clearing house of all the fake ‘hate crimes’ where we can keep track of both their number and their outcomes (whether or not the fakers are prosecuted, tried, convicted).
