So this is why CA is asking for billions in bailout funds from Washington?? Where do you get you ideas— Hollywood and San Fransicko? Did you also forget the bailout of NY City?? I’m guessing you are a prop 8 issue guy.

Here's a list of relative tax burdens, based on how much a state pays into the Federal treasury versus what it gets back.

Tax Burden by State

You'll notice that the "red" states typically get more money back from the Federal treasury than they put in, while "blue" states tend to be the ones doing the subsidizing. New Jerseyites get shafted the worst, while Mississippians make out like bandits.
