It's been over a week since the grandmother who raised Him died. I haven't heard anything about a funeral, nor more than a few perfunctory remarks by him (shades of Camus' "The Stranger"). Its bad enough that his daughters didn't see her during their Hawaii vacation this summer, but what gives? The Man won, can't they pay their last respects?
He is supposed to visit Hawaii in Dec for a memorial service. Don’t know if that means she is on ice or has been cremated.
Tomorrow will be a week. They must have disposed of the body by now. Maybe there will be a carefully orchestrated memorial service at a time of the Chosen One's convenience. He's a bit busy right now you see, what with calling all these heads of state and all.
I am not sending flowers.
I don’t know the details but I understand she was found under a bus.
I know many of you people in ohio live way out in the sticks. But they do have body freezers today and they use then all the time. A friend of mind had a nephew that killed himself and it was two weeks before they got the body back, two weeks for state medical examiners report.
Maybe the same bus that had something to do with that poor, aggressive panhandler that she was so hateful to....

The funeral was private. Indeed, it was so private that only the mortuary folks and one Secret Service agent attended. She was cremated, along with O’s birth certificate and all the ashes were thrown near the USS Arizona memorial to underscore her (and O’s) love for the U.S. Amen.
All the folks who know the secrets.....die.
His grandmother dies and he wins the presidency of the United States...but no time to go to church for a half hour and pray for her soul or thank God for his blessings.

with hussein, everything he does, he does for a reason....his trip to Hawaii, if his grandmother was alive, was probably to sign the DNR request.....
seriously, I think hussein hated his family....he resented them.....he was shuttled everywhere by his loose mother, and dumped onto the grandparents....a strange relationship was pushed on him by his grandparents to befriend and hang around this Frank Davis character.....
hussein is a strange person.....very cold....calculating....he has a lot of demons...and sadly for the world, this guy will be the most powerful man on earth...
God save us all!
Of course, you are all assuming (for the most part) that grandma was a blood relation of Obama, and it follows he should pay his last respects.
We all need to more closely evaluate each and every assumption we make about Obama.

There was a story in the JAKARTA POST around 3 weeks ago regarding the house where zero lived being up for sale. Pre-election, the owner, who remembered zero as a “bright boy”, figured the house would fetch US$3-5m. He caught the bus two weeks later, before cashing in.
But a media blind spot certainly has been part of the score.

She opted for cryonic preservation with Alcor Life Services in Arizona I believe. My understanding is that Obozo is a big fan of this with Ray Kurzweil.
Not really, many religions have different practices, I'm not going to say any of them are right are wrong. Let the next of kind handle it as they wish. That has always been the American way.
