Better to be respected than feared. Personally, I don’t think America should be “feared”.

Revelation 18
Send the Muslim Messiah, Pelosi, and Reid to negotiate with Al Qaeda. These dumb Socialists can cry and whine and wring their hands. Talk big and carry “no” stick.
I hear you. I’m just fearful of whatever they may pull should we be attacked. Knowing Obama’s radical anti-2nd amendment stance, I wouldn’t be surprised if it were another assault rifle ban, or even an outright confiscation.
As government grows, liberty contracts.
The article mentions the next few weeks as being the most likely.
They would probably do it under President Bush’s watch, to make things more difficult for the transition with Obama.
With AIG on government life support, I am wondering how the insurance industry, the banking system and the fedral government will handle an event on the magnitude of 9-11 or larger. If our enemies have a lick of sense, they will strike us in the near term, not simply because an inept leader is about to take power, but because our economy and our markets are so vulnerable.
On January 20th 2009, at 1201PM, we should fly our flags upside down..
San Francisco..
They won’t. Obama was using “Taqqiya”, deception, here in America..
Thanks, V. I’m still here! I wonder if the president-elect is going to learn anything from his sessions with Bush that will change his mind about things like closing Gitmo.
Are you kidding? Obama's going to milk that cow for excuses as long as he can, as in "...the last administration left us a huge mess, and it's going to take a lot of time, and lot of earmarks, to clean it up."
Al Qaeda does have a history of announcing their plans. It’s part of what they consider to be some traditional warning.
Not sure this is an official communication from Al Qaeda or merely the words of a sympathizer.
After all, Johnny Taliban had said this would happen a while back too. And it was a bad scenario.
If they had the tools to do something big, exactly what would stop them from getting things in place? The Mexican border?
Speaking from near ground zero, let me thank the Chamber of Commerce and all the Shamnesty supporters for putting slave labor first.
The link to the article doesn’t seem to be working. Here’s another: http://www.theage.com.au/world/warning-of-new-bin-laden-attack-20081109-5kxu.html
The telling line in the article:
_____________________________________________________
According to the report, bin Laden is himself closely following preparations for an attack against the US and aims to “change the face of world politics and economics”.
The operative is quoted as saying that “this will be shown by the fact that we now control a major part of the south of Somalia”.

Somalia??? What???
Why is Somalia specifically mentioned as proof that AQ is behind the impending attack?
Here’s a frightening possibility:
The recent revelation of Somali pirates dying from radiation sickness (Iranian ship Deyanat) may have alerted the US and NATO to an ongoing AQ plot to load dirty bombs onto ships headed to US and European ports.
The pirates have been actively hijacking ships since 2005.

How many? Where? We could soon find out. The hull scanners set to be put in place in US ports in 2009 could be too late. http://www.lloydslist.com/ll/news/us-ports-underwater-hull-scanner-trial-set-for-2009/1224777519003.htm;jsessionid=70A3CAE9447D6F2C8607ABD875EA5163
Read this report to congress in 2004 which mentions the danger of dirty bombs being loaded onto vessels while at sea as a very real threat.

I would not want to live or work near a US port. Not at this time.
“Yeah, a single missile attack on an aspirin factory.”
I would love to see a side by side list of the names of dead ot captured terrorist under Bush and under Clinton.
Sure do hope that the Rats have plenty of white flags ready for action.
Interesting..............and it unfortunately makes sense.
