Thanks for posting.
I agree with your dad 100%.

Bush does not deserve the abuse he's been given. MY biggest criticism of Bush is that he's been a lousy communicator. He needed to be out there defending himself more and I go clear back to the very first day he was president.
The lowlife Clintons, and their trash, trashed the WH and AF1 and nothing was ever done or said about it.
We just keep letting Democrats get by with their crimes and they just keep getting more brazen. We will have nothing left because of our timidity.
Now they're trying to steal elections and the worst of is that our very own side doesn't care. Our side (even Freepers) says that it's ok to steal elections of we don't like the Republican.

I agree——and definitly would have voted for him again over the choices we had in this election.

The disgraceful treatment of George W. Bush began in the wee hours of November 8, 2000 when Gore decided not to concede.
The lies began during the election recount. Claims of people not being allowed to vote (disenfranchisement), Dem election officials doing everything they could to turn the election Gore's way (hanging chads, disqualifying military votes), a Dem Florida Supreme court helping them.
When finally it was settled, the propaganda machine began - "The U.S. Supreme Court selected the President."
And except for about 1 week after 9/11, it has been non-stop. Not one thing the man did or did not do escaped the wrath of the left, Democrats, MSM, university elite professors, Hollywood. It almost became a joke - every misfortune that befell Americans was Bush's fault.
It did not start with the Iraq war. Like I said, it began on November 8, 2000.

Conservatives will in future speak of GW Bush in the same way lefties speak of Jimmy Carter, "He's a very good man, but..."
In fact that's how many have been speaking about him the last two years, and, to my mind, rightfully so. The man whom all the pundits said would be the next Ronald Reagan ended by being the 2nd coming of Jimmy C.

Great article, David! I agree with your Dad. Pres. Bush will be remembered in the history books as a great president. His defense of our nation and the successes in the Middle East are his legacy.

This treatment of a President in a time of war would have been considered treason 60 years ago.
It IS treason, where anyone considers that or not. I would love to see the ringleaders hung for it.

Our failure to stand by the one person, President Bush, who continued to stand by us has not gone unnoticed by our enemies. It has shown to the world how disloyal we can be when our President needed loyalty - a shameful display of arrogance and weakness that will haunt this nation long after President Bush has left the White House. The intense hating (on the part of the MSM, the universities, the lefty interest-groups, and Europe itself) all started with a gasp! after GW Bush was asked in an exclusive interview: “Who is the single most influential person in your life?”; and he answered, “The Lord Jesus Christ”.
Same thing happened to Sarah Palin.
Evangelical Christianity has been summarily marginalized.

The Bush bashing that has occurred for the last 8 years is nothing more than an extension of the hissy fit libs had when Al Gore was stopped from stealing the election. Ever since it's been BUSH'S FAULT, from WMD's, yellow cake, Hurricane Katrina, stem cells, Valeri Plame and the economic downturn.

GW Bush never fought back to defend himself these past 8 years. He gladly accepted blame for all acts of God and nature. He took credit for all good and bad politics.. GW Bush has made the world a better place. He pitched a perfect strike in yankee stadium post 9/11 and restored our hope. God bless this good man.
