But seriously, Pelosi’s just another typical white woman. I’m sure she mistreats minorities in that vineyard operation she and her husband have. Wouldn’t take much digging.
Obambi may not realize it (probably doesn’t) but the real President for the next fo years will be Nanny Lalapelosi. Obamama won’t have the guts or the power to overrule whatever Lalapelosi wants; he’ll just be a rubber stamp.

Everything that can be done to kill our economy via bailouts, and whatever else they can do, will be done before the inaugriation - so the O has less to be directly responsible for.
Nancy probably realizes she can’t stay in power, so she might as well take blame off of Obama.

Talk about having to pick your poison.
Lets settle some debate now. Obama has never show any real initiative as a Illinois state senator or as a US senator in DC. He shows up, and casts a vote...and thats basically it. He hasn’t truly authored any earth-shattering legislation or formed any real relationships in the senate. Go talk to the Chicago folks...and his relationships were primarily with the Chicago circle and special lobbyists...but even that was limited.
Nancy knows this guy inside and out. His efforts in the first 100 days are a joke and he won’t even come near Clinton’s accomplishments in that period. I read yesterday that he has a 17-member special economic advisory board. By the time the group meets and can form any consensus (17 members)...and then get this on the table...it’ll be a empty shell of various programs...none of which the senate or the house will readily agree to because they weren’t invited to the meetings.
I believe Nancy is absolutely correct in moving ahead of the herd and simply taking charge. You will see no real accomplishments from Obama or his team in the first year....its Pelosi and her team that run the game. Obama is there to make speeches and make the crowds.
Well, if we can survive these bailouts, a conservative GOP playing to the GOVT REFORM, FISCAL CONSERVATIVE side of this equation, pointing out the NATIONAL DEBT for 2 years BIG gains in the House of Reps can be made.
It just dawned on me, the key to the rebuild of the GOP for the next 4 years is to rework the Ross Perot/Newt Gingrich balanced budget push.
A REFORM AGENDA will work if we can put the RINOS in a closet with Biden and Michelle O.
Their will be a conversation with Obama at some point with Reid and Pelosi telling Obama that they control the legislation and he needs to support their plan of action and they will support his and theirs takes precedence.
This happened with Carter in 1976 and Clinton in 1992.
Obama has the power of the bully pulpit but not the power to legislate. Reid and Pelosi will make that very clear to him. In Washinton it is about power and Pelosi and Reid aren’t giving up any to a newby like Obama.
I was initially concerned about Obama’s lack of experience, especially at the executive level. But upon further reflection, what frightens me more is that he might not have the testicular fortitude to stand up to Pelosi and Reid.
We could be in for a very rough four years...
Pelosi is a really stupid woman. Obama will run all over her.
