Holy smokes ping!
Bill Richardson referred to Obama as an immigrant?!?!?
I don’t think they would de-certify the election. I’m not sure the USSC has that power or authority. According to Amendment XX Sec 3, “if the President elect shall fail to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified”.
IOW, we have to wait until AFTER we have a President elect who fails to qualify before action can be taken. There doesn’t appear to be any Constitutional power for anyone to act before then.
That also says to me that the power isn’t in the Court, but in the Electoral College. How about that for a legal theory?
However, the suit only affects the Electoral Votes of Pennsylvania where the case is situated. 0bama doesn't need them.
I don't see it that way at all since Berg took his case before a Federal Court and not a State Court. He wanted to be sure that Obama was removed from all election ballots.
I also believe that Obama was supposed to or wanted to lose so that a bloody revolution could be started in Chicago and DC. He was quite surprised when he won and was deflated at his rally there and the crowd that was supposed to rush the White House at around midnight, (complete with Communist flags) fizzled as well.
See #162 for a theory about that.
0 looks way more like Malcom X.
“I thought it was VERY interesting that the day after the election Fox News on XM radio played a clip of Droopy Dog Richardson saying that not only is Obama our first black President, but also our first IMMIGRANT President. There is an earlier clip of him speaking in Spanish to La Raza saying the same. Quinn of Quinn and Rose has secured both clips and played them on his morning show.
What the heck could they be up to with this stuff?”
“IMMIGRANT” President??? We need to get a copy of that clip, a.s.a.p. If Richardson knows that, then other Dems know that, and if they know it and have been hiding it....well.....I think this country will revolt in a way not seen in our lifetime.
I’m aware of that. The boss decides who the electors are.
Is this from The Onion?
Note that other Justices have in the past stated that cases should also be judged on how they affect social stability (I think it was Roe, but not sure)
That is certainly a different perspective. Anything is possible these days. We live in the twilight zone, ya know. :)
Thanks! Incredible isn’t it. Check out #164.
My take is that Zero would be disqualified and McCain would have the most eligible electoral votes and Biden would have the most eligible electoral votes for VP.
What happened to the Virginia court finding based on the claim that it was shown sufficient documentation of his birth in Hawaii?

sneakers, post # 38, no discussion, just a mention
I'm not a lawyer, but as I understand it....
"Respond" does not mean that Justice Souter has ordered Hussein to produce his birth certificate.
"Respond" means that Souter has given Hussein and the DNC one month to file motions of dismissal of the writ, and probably the FEC again has two months to file for dismissal. It would be easy to predict that they will all argue that Berg does not have standing.
Berg will then get time to respond to their motions.
And then the SCOTUS will look at the filings and choose whether or not they want to *HEAR* the appeal.
If they choose to hear it, dominoes will fall, and eventually the nine justices would have to come to a decision.
But if they opt not to hear it, then Judge Surrick's decision stands.
Please correct me if I'm wrong about any of this.
Yeah, I saw that, too. The only source for the other part of the order is Berg saying Souter’s clerk told him Souter had ordered Obama to respond to the Writ of Certiorari by 12/1.
Please see #126 for more info on the case & 162 for my theory of the larger issue.
This clip is a month old. Is this what you are talking about? Richardson must have said it more than once.

But it does not decide who they vote for. Electors as per the US Constitution can vote for any eligible candidate they wish.
Please see my #162 for an alternate theory.
