The last few years Newt seems to have embraced socialism ie globull warming and other feel good issues.
He would seriously need to disclaim these anti-conservative messages before I would even consider him.
Remember, NO MORE RINOs!!!!!!

I think Newt would be great and could articulate our message and strategy well but is he really ready for the BATTLE that will be like no other?

Yeah but pretty much all the dirt on Newt has already been out and for a very long time. They will attack anyone with an (R) after their name.
We may as well have some people who can articulate our principles out in front instead of the bumbling fools there now.

Thats what I was thinking, Karl. They can’t like this thought. Might be some “moderate” Republicans getting ready to re-aim as well.

This is exactly what is needed.
Let us start a “Draft Newt” movement.
To: eeevil conservative
This would be such a blessing. Newt understands better than most how things work in DC and he is a shrewed analyzer. Go Newt!

I recall him being asked about that and he showed no interest whatsoever. There was no coyness in his answer, you could tell he meant it.
This was some many months after Katrina and he took the diplomatic route to say that “My state needs me here.”
But I think what he really meant was that he could actually be effective, helpful, and absent the headaches as the governor of a state rather than as POTUS.

Damn sure is. He’s another country club elitist just like the ones who threw this election.

I understand perfectly if Karl Rove is burnt out and needs a break. However I give him 18 momnths before we need to recruit him for 2010 elections.
To: eeevil conservative
Super sweet!!!
I’d like to see him be Sarah Palin’s campaign advisor in ‘12!
To: eeevil conservative
YES!! He is best at articulating the conservative response to the next four years!!
To: Antoninus; SLB
This would be awesome. If he can get the chairmanship, he'll probably start putting forward ideas like 1994’s “Contract With America”, which gave the GOP the House and Senate for the first time in decades.

I am just so sick of the hyposcrisy.
What about Obama’s neo-classical Greek stage? What about Obama’s party in the park? The 0 campaign squandered millions on nonsense.
My question is, will the whole crew of stage builders, lighting specialists, and hollywood special effects people of the 0 campaign be given a special new cabinet appointment?
