I’m in!

The only way you can count me out though is by embracing Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” as has been discussed on other threads on FR. There’s some organizational skills that are universal across different ideologies, no problem with looking at those and no problem with learning how to counter his “Rules”, but Alinsky’s core beliefs are Marxist, as he was. It’s wrong to make a pact with the devil in order to win an election.

I agree altho it is good to note that some of the rules he used are universal—I actually went to a saul alinsky seminar about 15 years ago. The first question was “define power” and someone defined it as “the ability to motivate people to do something.” The organizer responded to the woman that she could leave the session because she knew what he was going to teach. Basically, it was methods like framing the argument, canvassing, etc. tho there were some shenanigans-type stuff like was done for Mondale campaign.
