At http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2008/11/electoral-map-2.html is a very nifty interactive Google map showing county-by-county eletion data for the entire USA. I don't know who put this thing together (it's not clearly attributed) but I ran across it this morning and it's rather neato.
Rather than me saying to much about it, just give it a try. It's a fun diversion (well, maybe) from the torrent of mea culpas today.
bump for later
Please to see my county went 78% for McCain.
Looks like Dallas, Harris, Travis, El Paso counties are lost causes, along with the Rio valley.
The areas that still have a little self respect and self
reliance went for McCain.
(Starr county is 98 percent minority and has an estimated population of 61,833, of which 60,169 are Hispanic and 422 are African-American).
This is how those given amnesty would vote, 84% Democrat.
There’s a little glitch in the Northern Virginia data, but that’s where the Zer0 support came from along with Hampton, Roanoake, and Richmond.
nice find
It’s was a pipedream to believe that Hispanics would fall into the Republican camp.

You can see the whole U.S. by county at this website:

We are still a “red” country (what a terrible choice of color!)

Check it out, the Messiah won Burlington County!
Great post. Thanks for the info.
2. Obama appears to have won Somerset County, the first time a Dem has done so since LBJ in '64. Can Hunterdon be far behind?
Another Californicator obsessed with Hispanics. We would have won this thing had the whites in the midwest and North Carolina voted for McCain in greater numbers.
I think that Bob Barr might have made the difference in North Carolina: I think that Barr + McCain might be greater than Obama.
In Western Massachusetts the more affluent communities were stronger for the messiah.
Dallas, Harris, Travis, El Paso.....all overwhelming minority and not likely to change. Other then that, its good to see a sea of red in the great state.
“Let’s see how America’s Most Hispanic County, Starr County, TX voted:”
This is a huge issue going forward as the amount of hispanics who can vote explodes. They reproduce at a crazy rate. There is a electoral bomb coming when millions of children of illegals become eligible.
