POLITICAL ENTRAIL READINGS A discouraging word for John McCain
11/5/08

Posted on 11/05/2008 6:46:18 AM PST by Liz

The political entrail readings will show many conservatives switched to Obama---most probably as a way to give McC and his pukeneo pals the political finger. The sight of abortion worshippers---Lieberman and RINO Rooty Ghouliani---sucking up to McC was nauseating. The idea that these two suckers would be active and visible in our government for another 4-8 years could not be tolerated.

It's unbelievable that McC could not comprehend (and/or did not particularly care) his associations were a huge turnoff to the crucial conservative base.

The Everything-For-Us-Nothing-For-You crowd took over McC's campaign---what's even more disturbing is that McC allowed this to happen.

Conservatives were incensed that McCain allowed himself to be duped by conservative-hating pukeneos (as did Bush).

MOST NAUSEATING ELECTION NIGHT SCENE Smirking little jerk---Fox pundit Billy Kristol---putting on his old reliable "I Know Nothing About This Republican Disaster" act.

AS FREEPER TADSLOS COGENTLY POSTED: "People forget that candy-ass Kristol, and his crony, metro-sexual Brooks are the original makeover artists for McCain post-2000. They are McC's original groomers and media switch operators. For Kristol to be urging McCain (to fire his staff) to start all over at the 11th hour belies how ill conceived, advised, equipped and poorly managed McC's campaign continues to be. But then, I expect as much from a Republican candidate made up from Kristol’s and Brooks’ bolt of whole cloth."

One of Kristol and Brooks cockamamie ideas---that they forced onto the body politic---was that McCain would promote their idea of “national greatness,” as opposed to what they regard as the "standpatness of conservative Republicans." (Another kick to the curb for conservatives from this puke coterie.)

“National Greatness you might ask?”

That entails a greater role for the federal government and more---much more--extensive military intervention throughout the world to "promote" American values. Excerpted from “The Transparent Cabal.” Amazon lists the book, authored by a noted historian, as one of the great history books of the decade.

Kristol/Brooks/pukeneo schemes are identical to those that brought about the destruction of the Roman Empire: glorifying perversions; advancing illegal immigration; inciting barbaric haters who would destroy us; vast growth in government; runinous taxation; religious cleansing---destroying every last vestige of the nation's faith.

CONCLUSION Sweet Jesus---the pukeneos are gonna go ballistic. If there's one thing that makes the pukes go berserk---it's connecting God with politics. As disastrous as beating back Count Dracula with a crucifix.

Well, too--frickin--bad.

Bush talked the conservative talk but he seldom walked the walk----he was in waist-deep with conservative-hating pukenes, and went along with the pukes religious cleansing of the Repub party-----and the pukes kicking conservatives to the curb.

Putting (1) conservative-hating Mehlman (who leaked top-secret WH info to his gay pals which Bush did nothing about), and, (2) amnesty-lover Martinez into the RNC, were truly the beginning of the end.

I do not buy that “real conservatives” would vote in a Marxist to show the conservatives how they should be more conservative.

I see a whole lot of people ascribing rational thought to the electorate. Thats ridiculous. Most people only enjoy a rational thought every couple of months... Then forget what they were thinking about.

We have an uneducated population that does not know how to rationally approach a problem. We get an irrational government.

I agree with your statement. No way does 30% of registered republicans vote obama because McCain hung out with Rudy or grhamnesty, etc. I read an earlier post that said 30% repubs voted hobama. Either something was wrong with the counting process, including fraud or those people were dems registered as repubs.

There is more to the story then anger at McCain.

Bingo but I would also add "over educated" individuals in the sense that theories and social engineering can live in harmony with liberty.

Not buying, Liz. A true conservative does not suddenly vote socialist just to ‘send a message’. What happened was that the Republican-moderates — a good portion of them — flipped. The mushy-middle is into “sending messages” and “punishing” politicians at the ballot box regardless of the consequences to their political ideals (of which they have few).

A real conservative that could not vote for McCain would stay home or vote third party. It is simply unthinkable. But I will admit MANY people I’ve heard...it is like they don’t know a thing about Obama other than tax cuts and change.

I guess there are dumb conservatives just like there are dumb liberals.

I really fooled myself into believe the conservative base was motivated by Palin and anti socialism.

The sad truth is that America on TV DID look more like the young, energized Obama than the elderly McCain

The contrast was startling---McC looked like a pasty-faced Home Depot guy supplementing his SS check, mincing around, looking for the paint stirrer.

That McC actually thought the campaign issues he hammered would fly with voters is amazing. Everytime McC opened his mouth he went down several points.

Me either. That’s hogwash and I hardly think you can compare McCain’s associates to those of Obama.

Many voted for Obama by NOT voting.

As the returns came in, it was clear voters in Repub strongholds stayed home.

McC underperformed with conservatives.

Obama overperformed with thousands of newly-registered voters.

Either we have to change the Republican Party or replace it with a new, more effective political organ. It isn;t just philosophy - its also tactics and vision. The Republican Party leadership and officials are too myopic, too defensive minded instead of offensive minded, too unwilling to think outside the box. They are continually being outsmarted their opponents on the left. The left never retreats from territory it has acquired - it always moves forward. The left never compromises its principles, even when it loses. The Republicans are ineffective in implementing their agenda even when they succeed. The left has monopolized popular mediums of information and the educational establishments - molding young minds into liberal zombies. The Republicans just stand there like a deer caught in the headlights and do nothing about it.

I am heartily sick of the Republican Party and its growing inability to out compete the Democrats politically.

Nice take---deserves a repeat. Could not agree more.

That's not what I observed. I live in a conservative area & voting was heavy all day long. Anecdotal evidence from traditionally heavy R districts showed the same across the nation. But again, I think it was moderate-R's that strayed.

There are people (Michael Barone) who will spend their time picking thru the wreckage of this election to prove this one way or the other.

Cutting America’s nose off to spite who? Us and our children and grandchildren’s futures. The enemies among us have won and we “will” pay the price. For many the price will come directly out of their pockets and their way of living and their supposed retirements. Enjoy having no spendable income and no freedom to go with it. The rationale for this loss to a Muslim traitor is pathetic and dangerous. Enjoy your misery and your bondage. Sit back and wait for our enemies to attack us again worse than on 9/11. Just pray that it’s not your city that gets hit this time and you don’t have to join the 9/11 families in their grief.

I highly recommend anyone in the US military, whose enlistment is up, get out of the military ASAP. Anyone thinking of joining the military, forget it! No patriotic American should serve in a military headed by a Commander that no one respects and knows sympathizes with our enemies.

Mmmmmmm.........but McC’s turning off conservatives didn’t just happen on Nov 4.

McC has NOT been the conservatives’ friend for ages.

And was definitely not our 2008 choice.

So saying here that conservatives reacted against McC on election day should not come as a big surprise.

Conservatives were furious over the billion dollar bailouts, the Wall Street, Fannie/Freddie corruption, mortgage fraud, and toxic mortgages forced on banks by ACORN, etc.

The furor could have been mitigated had Bush got tough---(1) had he prosecuted Wall Streeters who corrupted and stole from the system; (2) had he gone after those who forced banks to lend to marginal people; (3) had he gone and got illegals who flipped houses for huge profits, then absconded to Mexico and left banks (and taxpayers) holding the bag.

True. But that wasn’t Bush.

Personally, I think Bush WANTED Obama to win so brother Jeb
could run in 2012.

I submit:

1) Cheney’s “endorsement” a few days before the election

2) Bush’s proposal to convert 25% of our agricultural foreign aid to American Cash dollars about 1 week before the election

3) Ordering a military strike into Syria about 1 week before the election to discredit the surge success

4) Advocating the unpopular toxic loan buy-out of $750 Billion about 1 month before the election and snokering McCain into endorsing it despite widespread public opposition.
