Before you vote, take all or just a part of this test. If you answer yes to any of the questions, reconsider your vote if it was going to be for Sen. Barack Obama.
1. Are you basing your vote mainly on what you've heard Sen. Obama say about his plans and proposals? Remember that any politician can promise you the moon and the stars before the election. Any politician can like a parrot regurgitate what his advisers have found the voters want to hear. The key is to see how the plans, proposals, and all the rhetoric square up with the record and reality. Sen. Obama's rhetoric is often the very opposite of his record. He says he wants to bring us all together and end the partisanship in Washington. In fact, both his friends and foes confess that he has not once reached across the political aisle on any issue of consequence. Can you really expect an extreme left-wing radical extremist liberal, who votes the party line 96 percent of the time, to bring us altogether?

Quite good. Herb was a consumer reporter 20 years ago for Channel 10 in Philadelphia. He was 60 then, I thought. He’s gotta be in his 70s/80s now. God Bless him. That was a really good article.
