subtitle: sorry, auntie. Now get under the bus.
From the perky Katie interview:
Couric: YOU HAVE AN AUNT WHOS BEEN LIVING IN THIS COUNTRY APPARENTLY ILLEGALLY, AND YOUR CAMPAIGN SAYS ANY AND ALL APPROPRIATE LAWS SHOULD BE FOLLOWED. SO WOULD YOU SUPPORT HER BEING DEPORTED TO KENYA?Sen. Obama: If she is violating laws those laws have to be obeyed. Were a nation of laws. Obviously that doesnt lessen my concern for her, I havent been able to be in touch with her. But Im a strong believer you have to obey the law.
And for someone claiming running the campaign gives him executive experience, do you think it would be too difficult to delegate the task of locating and calling all the family? After all, she's on the freaking donor list!
I’m glad to see “Sarah Palin: America’s future” in the FR ad rotation. Watch for it and view the video.
Mr. Obama last heard from Ms. Onyango about two years ago when she called to say she was in Boston, but he did not see her there, the campaign said.
“Why helllllllooooooooo Auntie! Don’t tell me where you qare! Gotta run. Bye”
hasn’t been able to be in touch with her?
In today’s world of phones, cell phones, internet and the many other means of communication, there is no way he wasn’t able to be in touch.
The donor program has “address check” disabled. Couldn’t verify her address.
Not even a, “hey, my aunt is in Boston somewhere, go look her up and fly her out to the coliseum I’m building for my nomination acceptance extravaganza!”
“But Im a strong believer you have to obey the law.”
...except when we’re talking about voter fraud.
And a myriad of other problems.
