Unbelievable post by Obama- and it shows his CLEAR..PROGRESSIVE intentions.
I was under the impression that anyone who might be considered a moderate in the Democratic Party; Sam Nunn, Robert Casey or William Donald Schaffer had been cast from the party long ago.
How many moderate Democrats are there, still in the Dem Party?

Progressives (faculty and staff) at the universities I have been associated with have already started the process of making it extremely hard or impossible for conservatives to stay employed... Thus, anyone who has a small amount of independent or not along the EXACT Obama line will most likely be the next to be ostracized. That will probably include students many of whom who have already suffered grade deducts as a result of their beliefs.

The moderate Dems will not go quietly. If Obama loses, I predict a civil war within the Dem party over control, the PUMAs versus the Obama faction, with the losers being purged.
I promise you there will be no FreeRepublic.com,
Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity when I become president.
I’m counting on Obama’s Communism to drive out a good number of moderates from the Democratic Party, continuing the job Jimmy Carter started. People haven’t yet figured out that they are buying into the biggest grift in the history of this nation, but if we elect this monster, people will start catching on quickly.

I’ll have to read the rest of this, what Obama is doing is saying what ‘the storyline’ says. Does he agree with it or offer an alternative?
According to the storyline that drives many advocacy groups and Democratic activists - a storyline often reflected in comments on this blog - we are up against a sharply partisan, radically conservative, take-no-prisoners Republican party.
They have beaten us twice by energizing their base with red meat rhetoric and single-minded devotion and discipline to their agenda. In order to beat them, it is necessary for Democrats to get some backbone, give as good as they get, brook no compromise, drive out Democrats who are interested in “appeasing” the right wing, and enforce a more clearly progressive agenda.
SOMEONE get this to the McCain/Palin camp. They need to wave this around as proof positive that Osama Hussein’s “Unite the country” is a steaming pile of marxist lies.
