Would love to hear this guy’s “logic”.
The company is much better off without him than to keep on getting the bad publicity.

I helped. I sent a scathing email after reading the story right here on FR.

He should have learned from Zumbo. Gun owners strike quickly!

This may be nothing but a face-saving move.
Dan Cooper is no longer CEO, but who actually owns the company? If he is a significant shareholder, he will continue to benefit from the success of the company.

Now if only the country would operate like that. And yea, I’d like to hear his logic too.

Why in the world would a gun maker back Obama? That’s really like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders.

Takes more than this,,, i want to see some positive action supporting the 2nd amendment,,,
This is the weasel actions of elitist types who will be glad to ban pistols and assault rifles and 50 cal rifles as long as they can keep their mahogany stocked 5000 dollar rich guy toy.
The gun banners are all about divide and conquer,, guys like these help them as much as Sarah Brady,,, 2nd amendment supporter my A**.

That's obviously true but you can't strip him of his shares. Find ANY company you like and patronize and I'm sure you'll find major stockholders in it that are left wing as hell.
The company did the right thing.

He said what he did and that was plausible and defensible to most. The USA article was a spin , such as that of Obama where he said he never gave a dime to ACORN. He gave 800k during the primaries. Cooper “says” he gave coin to defeat Hillary as he felt the GOP could beat Obama but not Hillary. USA today spun that to make it appear as if Cooper was supporting Obama NOW !
He donated CASH ! He could have just voted in the primaries against Hillary versus giving CASH to Obama.
He isn’t according to his comments the last few days . I don’t believe Cooper. I have met Cooper and do not like him as he spun a shooting trip to NM where a lucky shot was made at great range into a credit to his rifle building skills in a ad his company placed later. That’s my personal opinion of him and his gun.

Anyone here that has followed this story through several threads posted since this story broke KNOWS that FR had a big hand in this. Just like Dan Rather and CBS.
Thank you Jim, John and all the under-appreciated Mods.
We make a difference.
And that’s a good thing.
