It's time to go vote tomorrow, and I just can't think of a reason to not vote for Obama/Biden.
Below is my life story, showing you why it's time that I get my cut:
I was born a poor, white child in the back of a Ford Pinto-or maybe just conceived-behind Wal-Mart in Corpus Christi, Texas. There I languished in the public school system, being forced to eat nothing but Spam and Deviled Eggs while awaiting LBJs War On Poverty to pull me out of the Corpus Christi ghetto. Painfully, I suffered under President Ronald Reagans jackboots. I agonized year after year that government would raise me from the ashes of poverty. Luckily, a sympathetic liberal teacher helped me get into the local community college. After only taking six years to get my Associates Degree, I finally realized that Bush was indeed the devil, and that he was responsible for my plight in life. Then, a savior arose from Chicago land. He walked across the water and filled my soul with joy. For he was Barack Obama!
Now, armed with my degree, I work hand in hand with the Obama campaign to bring down Big Oil, Big Pharmaceutical, Wal-Mart, and all Republicans in the name of real change. I work hard to insure millions of poverty-stricken Americans, such as myself, will not have to endure Spam and the Reagan Revolution ever again. Instead, they will enjoy the spoils of caviar with the help of yet another minimum wage increase. I will not rest until minimum wage is $50.00 per hour. This is the life that Ive chosen, and this is the motto Ive taken.
Actually it will be a major left turn, good thing I'm a Nascar fan!
There's a point there, but I think we'll pull him across the finish line.
NASCAR fan! I always new you were racist!
Just kidding for those on the thread that thinks NASCAR fans are racist. :-)
As Je$$e Jack$on says, “Redneck cracker, Nascar fan” and damn proud of it. ;)
:-)
:-) Thank you.
In other news, I'm engaging in one-by-one Obama-Clarifying: waitresses, other service folks that I do business with. I'm not getting whacked on the head. I sincerely believe that many of the center-left folks want to hear it's OK to not vote for 0bama. And sometimes they just need one good reason (taxes).
My favorite reply to the "tax cuts for 95% of the taxpayers"? Hannity's "I've never gotten a paycheck from a poor person." That usually resonates. One by one!
That'd probably do it.
:-) You know what the 0bama campaign reminds me of? A very angry Pekinese. Loud, annoying, puffed up.
But I think they know that most of the country is at heart center-right. Which makes them even more loud and annoying and puffed-up.
I agree that there are many registered D’s and I’s who make a public show of supporting 0bama, but are grateful for the sanctity of the private vote.
I also think that many of them are secretly ashamed and embarrassed by the way that 0’Biden have been conducting the campaign. And I dearly hope that the left continues to overplay their hands, such as Pelosi “100%” guaranteeing an 0bama win.
Flip it around - what if Newt had done that?
Get a rope. :-)
Yup!
No, kidding.
