Today the markets fell again, prompting some to call the amazing knee jerk reaction of the markets world-wide “bizarre.” In the past few weeks, Christians world wide have been murdered and prosecuted at unbelievable numbers by different groups including Hindus and Muslims. Somali Pirates saved Israel by intercepting a ship that was in essence a floating “dirty bomb” created by Iran to decimate Israel. The times are getting very scary. I urge everyone with a mind of their own to read Revelation in their Bible. I urge everyone make sure your loved ones have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I urge everyone to consider your vote and who is the least risky candidate. Think with your mind, not with your wallet. The writing is on the wall. Who will look at it and read it? Who will ignore it?

The Apophas asteroid is not scheduled to “near-miss” the earth until 2036. While the Lord could come at any time, it is my opinion that God’s not quite finished yet.
Still some good to do out there yet, and some other pre-trib prophesies yet to unfold.

Read and understand the parable of the fig tree in Matthew 24. The generation (70 years) that sees Israel become a nation will see all events that Jesus predicted in Matthew 24. (This generation would be 1948 to 2018).

I might remind you that Christianity is a prophetic religion. Christ first advent was entirely based on prophecy...so will his second.
Or maybe you are an atheist or an unbeliever of some flavor. That would account for your statement also.
I respect your honesty. However, as to not having a faith gene, I doubt it, I think God made us with the ability to believe. Not that He forces us to believe, its our call.
The evidence is there, on God’s ability to predict the future. He even asks us to test him on His prophetic ability. He says fulfilled prophecy proves He is the God of the Bible, or supernatural. This is in the book of Isaiah.
Among the many things predicted in Isaiah was the name of Cyrus who would be the one to set the Jews free from Babylon. And Christ’s virgin birth. The former was predicted by God several hundred years before it happened, the latter, over a thousand years before it happened.
Then there is the prophecies in the book of Daniel. In the seventy week prophecy, Christ, the Messiah, was predicted 483 years before it happened.
But there are also many prophecies of Christ’s second coming. Rest assured they will be fulfilled just as accurately as the ones already fulfilled. When they happen, will you then believe? They prove there is a God.
Correction, Isaiah lived in the seventh century BC, his prophecy of the virgin birth would have been more like around 600 years before it happened. Not a thousand.

2036 is only 20 years difference... could technically be considered the same generation.
But... yours is a lot stronger argument than a rock floating around in space. If you subtract 7 years for the tribulation, that puts the rapture in the neighborhood of 2011.
There will be another election in 2010.
I would imagine that the best setup for a worldwide calamity would be the sudden disappearance of a majority of the US government, including the president him(her)self :)
I suspect that this year will be the largest victory for God’s church or the largest defeat prior to the 2nd coming.
I’ve long suspected we were a lot closer than we thought we were. What is going on right now in government, media, and apparent public opinion defies logic far beyond my ability to explain in any other way than supernatural terms.
I would say if Barack wins, we’ll be gone in less than 5 yrs, and if he loses, 8-10.
I doubt I will ever believe in any religion. I don’t have any bad feelings about those that do (like you). I am happy for you. While all religions seem silly to me, I would never dream of trying to convince a “believer” not to believe, or belittle believers. You are lucky to have the comfort of such a belief system and I respect you for it.
Reading my most recent post to you. I want to clarify. When I wrote “(like you)”, I was referring to the fact that you are someone who believes, not that you had bad feelings toward anyone.
