Florida Congressional candidate Eddie Adams Jr. (R) was admitted to Tampa General Hospital Sunday suffering from severe burns on the hands and arms. He will be undergoing additional skin grafts Tuesday.

A vandal tied a mattress to the underside of Mr. Adams pick-up truck. Friction with the road, and contact with the catalytic converter combined to ignite the bedding.

As he drove down Busch Boulevard in Tampa, Florida, onlookers began to wave and shout

Here’s the kicker,he’s a black candidate running in a district that’s populated by blacks, but the present representative is a white woman.

This district has been gerrymandered (in a big way) to include a heavily minority district in south St. Pete and thus lean Democratic. Here’s a link. Larsen’s a libertarian, and he’s not afraid to name names.

He’s voting McCain, although he’s not exactly enthused about it, but doesn’t want Obama. He ALWAYS calls him Barack Hussein Obama, never uses any other reference.

I live in this district, NN lives in the northeastern part of the city. Where we live the neighborhood is probably 50/50, but the district also includes heavily black areas too (from 26th Ave S to 1st Ave. S, 9th streeet to 49th street are almost 100 percent minority.)

We listen to at least part of Mark’s show each morning. I love the way he’s not afraid to say what he means and mean what he says.

The information has been in the newsroom of WFLA newsradio 970 since Monday, and so has Newsradio 820, and they have refused to report it. Interestingly, the blog Associated content, censored the news that this is a black man, very well respected by Republicans, who got this treatment.

At times it is tough to be a conservative, it is hell all the time to be a black conservative Republican and run for office.
