Are You Sick of Politics? Then Vote Republican!

You could say that I am a political junkie. I almost always know what is going on politically and can discuss almost any issue with a degree of knowledge and make any discussion on politics usually interesting. And of course I am not alone. There are many more Americans (both on the right and on the left) today that follow the news and the issues through the internet very closely. Politics has become a contact sport at work, at home, with friends almost everywhere you go we are becoming saturated with it by ideologues from both the right and from the left.

Being that I am one of those that is always speaking out politically I will hear alot from certain people how they are sick of politics. They cant stand republicans or democrats and tend to stick both progressives and conservatives in the same boat.

Well the title of my thread is also the answer that I give to them. If you are sick of politics then you have to vote republican because you are a conservative. Conservatives prefer freedom to politics. Conservatives do not want politics seaping into more and more areas of your life but seek to limit the role of government and poltics in our lives.

These people need to have it explained to them that conservatives (republicans) stand for limited government which in effect limits the amount that politics interferes within our lives. Progressives (democrats) seek the exact opposite, they seek to expand the influence of government in our lives and the amount of politics that we all will have to deal with on a daily basis.

This financial crisis was caused by a progressive political agenda in the banking and housing industry. Conservatives seek to keep the market as free as possible from political agendas, we believe in the free market place.

Unions and the collapse of the auto industry were caused by a progressive political agenda as well.

Food shortages and higher prices were caused by a progressive political agenda in the energy industry. The progressives seek to intertwine a political agenda into the energy industry and food industry. Conservatives seek to make us free and independent.

All of these progressive political agendas will expand under the democrats and more. They want to do away with secret ballots in the workplace. They want to run a politcal agenda even in the radio industry and suppress free speech. They want to force by rule of law for people to have to treat homosexuality as being equal to heterosexuality and that it be taught in schools. They are against school choice, period. They are against parental notification and want to dictate all sexuality rights in public involving our children without even allowing people representation on the issue. They want the Court to order it.

The democrats want to make our health care more political and to run their political agenda through it. Of course then we can all argue politcally about new progressive laws telling us what to eat and how to care for ourselves and behave as well.

Of course they also want that in regards to any energy we use as well. What to drive, what to eat, what to say, what to think..... on and on the democrat progressive agenda means exapnding government and the amount of politics that we will all have to deal with on a daily basis. And of course the amount that we will have to pay in taxes will increase under the progressive democrats as well.

Of course these people who are sick of politics should also hear about Obama's plan for a National Civilian Security Force and about how he wants to start to enlist young people as community organizers by promising that the taxpayers will pay for their college.

We all need to have community organizers and Civilian storm troopers in our face organizing our lives???

If these people who claim to be sick of politics are sincere then explain to them that conservatives (republicans) are fighting today for a limited government. That we fight to keep politics out of every nook and cranny in your life. Conservatives are fighting for freedom.

Explain that we are not all the same when it comes to politics. That it is the democrats who are promising more of the same.

The Democrats have inflicted the endless campaign on us. For the past 2 years it has been non-stop. I really believe Osbama is going to “jump the shark” with these 30 minute infomercials.
