The Obama Campaign's "Fight the Smears" is once again caught misrepresenting the facts in its ongoing attempt to whitewash Barack Obama's radical past.
The page on Obama and terrorist Bill Ayers is a complete fraud.
This is what the Obama Campaign says about Obama kicking his career off in Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn's living room:
USA Today: Obama did not launch political career in Ayers living roomHowever, Patterico today has proof from someone who was there that it was indeed in Bill Ayer's living room.
Ayers was one of many who sponsored coffees for Obama in 1995 when he declared for the Illinois Senate. The official campaign launch occurred at the Hyde Park Ramada. Their relationship barely goes beyond serving together on an education foundation board in Chicago.
When I first met Barack Obama, he was giving a standard, innocuous little talk in the livingroom of those two legends-in-their-own-minds, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. They were launching himintroducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread.Barack Obama also said during the ABC debate with Hillary Clinton that Bill Ayers was just some guy in his neighborhood.
“However, this weekend it was discovered that Barack Obama, terrorist Bill Ayers and Maoist harliner Mike Klonsky worked together in the same office building on the same floor for several years.”
And shared the same mailing address and phone number...
But...he doesn’t really ‘know’ Ayers...
Riiiggghhhttt...

**************
In 1995, State Senator Alice Palmer introduced her chosen successor, Barack Obama, to a few of the districts influential liberals at the home of two well known figures on the local left: William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.
While Ayers and Dohrn may be thought of in Hyde Park as local activists, theyre better known nationally as two of the most notorious and unrepentant figures from the violent fringe of the 1960s anti-war movement.
Now, as Obama runs for president, what two guests recall as an unremarkable gathering on the road to a minor elected office stands as a symbol of how swiftly he has risen from a man in the Hyde Park left to one closing in fast on the Democratic nomination for president.
I can remember being one of a small group of people who came to Bill Ayers house to learn that Alice Palmer was stepping down from the senate and running for Congress, said Dr. Quentin Young, a prominent Chicago physician and advocate for single-payer health care, of the informal gathering at the home of Ayers and his wife, Dohrn. [Palmer] identified [Obama] as her successor.
Obama and Palmer were both there, he said.

It's not a coincidence. It's turning out to be a masterful plan if pulled off.
This is beginning to have the feel of Stalinist Russia. Recall that every time an old Bolshevik got purged, Stalin would have the individual painted-out of a painting of the founders of the Revolution.
If Obama can have his public record ‘sanitized’ in this manner, there’s very little he can’t do.
This campaign has been a long time coming.

The Obama media is not interested in the truth. They make no effort to pursue it. They want to help their Messiah win “by any means necessary.” They might as well all stand together and say, “Heil Obama!”
That “fight the smears” site was the stupidest idea they ever came up with.
All it does is consolidate every single net rumor or accusation into one handy place where “curious” undecideds can go and then check the truth out for themselves.
Odds are, they never would have thought to go hunting for the real truth if the “lies” weren’t splattered over the page like a long laundry list of sins.
[and the various “truths” change more often than a chameleon running through a tartan factory. do they think nobody notices how “fluid” their “truth” is?]
Geeze...why didn’t they just print the list and mail one to everybody in the US?
OK. So it wasn't Ayres' living room. Maybe 0bambi and Ayres were having a little "personal time" in Ayres bedroom.
Hey!
You can’t say “whitewash”!
That might be construed as racist code language!
