I just read about the hundreth sob story about how the Republican is history, how we are going to fragment, how we are going to come apart at the seams. There is also handwringing about how there is going to be a bloodbath in the house and senate. I am sick and tired of this useless negativity!
We are in the middle of an election that is important that party. It is necessary that we all work all we can to elect McCain/Palin and the rest of the ticket. Tell me, all you defeatists and "sunshine patriots," what efect to you have posting all this doom and gloom before the eletion? Are you guys trolls who are actually dems? Or, are you just naturally negative?
There will be lots of time afterward to look at succssses and failures. If we take a drubbing we will come back. I can remember 1964. Republicans lost their shirts. But they came back in the 1966 congressional elections with big wins and won the presidency in 1968 and set the stage for the rise of "Renaldus Maximus" as Rush likes to call Reagan.
If you want to wring your hands take it somewhere else! Signs are on the uptick and we may be in for a shock for the Libs this time! Benjamin Franklin put it best when he said, "We must all hang together, or we will surely hang separately!"
Sick & Tired bump.
I recall for a while there when the ‘Pubbies has majority control of House and Senate a lot of folks wrote articles and vanities of how the Dems would never be a power again, yadda yadda yadda. And I recall thinking what fools there were, as the political pendulum swings to and fro... that’s all this is; the pendulum is now favoring liberals. That too will shift again, though it may be several years before it does...
I agree with your sentiments entirely, but your post is like yelling “Don’t think about Madeline Albright without any clothes on!” It does not help. It’s better to post stories show lines of attack to be used against Obama, or to log off and do some grass-roots campaigning.
Now that there’s funny!!I got the biggest chuckle from this! LOL
Good t-shirt idea!
Rally sign too!
ditto bump!
Just say NO! to O
Dont think about Madeline Albright without any clothes on!
Now that is almost as scary as an Obama presidency!!!! /smile!
Actually, the ‘Pubbies had the chance. They could have defunded organizations like ACORN, and the NEA, and otherwise secured for themselves a position of strength. They lacked the will and the guts to do so.
The Democrats may be the Party of Evil, but they don’t lack the guts to do what they can to ensure their future elections...
I love your graphic!!!!
While I agree with your sentiment, you really should have proofread this a couple of times before posting.

Get a clue. When the GOP stops acting like liberals simply to stay in power, then they will win my support back, if they don't die of irrelevance first.
Gloom, despair, and agony on me
Deep dark depression, excessive misery;
If it weren't for bad luck,
I'd have no luck at all:
Gloom, despair and agony on me.
Most likely. It's one of the oldest tricks in the book, spreading stories of discontent within the ranks of the enemy.
Oh, so you are one of those that sits there saying, "Don't ask me to do anything for my country, tell me what it can do for me" types.
That's the mentality of a Democrat. So if you are simply going to sit back and wait until "someone else" turns the GOP back into a political force you favor, instead of being active in helping correct it's problems, then you may as well go sit with the rest of the gimme people on the other side.
No, just the opposite. But I don't expect you fear mongering party sheep to comprehend it. I don't support or defend liberalism in any form, especially to a party that wallows in it while claiming otherwise.
