Reports from Russia say that the ship...

I'm a little skeptical of the vague source. Do we have anything more solid to go on than "reports from Russia"?

Dear God.

This story will not be reported on any msm.

Last statement from the O camp was that a terror attack was the only thing that could end O’s chances.

I don't want either. What I want is for General Petraeus to institute a coup-de-tat. The world is much too dangerous to allow countries to be run by scheming politicians and representative democracies populated by whiners who can't see past the end of their noses.

If Petraeus had been El Presidente these past few years you can bet there would have been more than a few heads of Goldman Sachs on pikes on our nation's bridges.

We would also have gotten Bin Laden and all of his crony's by now and we wouldn't be allowing that Pakistani nuclear engineer to loll around under home confinement: I think we could find a more appropriate place to confine him such as at the bottom of a barrel of nuclear waste.

We need to get serious. Everyone should be either in the military or part of a military support group. We should all be receiving regular drilling and instructions on how to identify potential terrorists and what to do in case we discover a sleeper cell.

There are so many other ways things would be better if we were run by the disciplined and unperturbable members of our great armed forces and not the lily-livered sycophants currently occupying the Congress and the White House.

We should be able to detect radioactive or not from afar.

It’s the middle of October. Where is my October surprise?

The gist of this came out weeks ago.

Since the illness reports have not been corroborated, and basically nothing has happened, I remain skeptical.

Ratta-tat-tat click click click
Ratta-tat-tat click click click

Sounds of a Somali pirate firing his AK-47 at crewmembers after they turn on a geiger-counter.

You’re kidding, right? Surely you jest.

As much as I like General Petraeus and his accomplishments, the founding fathers structured the civilian leadership of our military for a purpose.

You are proposing a junta, right? That’s what third world countries do.

You’ve got to be pulling our legs, collectively. Tell me you’re kidding.

A few weeks ago I would have assured you that I am merely joking.

But I'm glad to say that I have finally drunk the Kool-Aid.

If we refuse to be ever-vigilant then Islamic jihadi terrorists will certainly kill millions with a nuclear device or via biological/chemical warfare.

We don't have the time to wait around for the Congress and Senate to express the wishes of a fickle populous and vote on things.

Bush has been very good in the way he has essentially governed as a dictator: approving torture, wiretaps, data mining, surveillance of U.S. citizens, etc. Of course he has never formally fessed up to this.

So now we have to worry about if/when Bush or some in his adminstration will go to jail or be harrassed in front of congress for something that we all know needs to be done for this country's safety.

Wouldn't it be better if we were led by a military dictator who didn't have to pretend to be supporting the Constitution while using every means possible to identify and eliminate all terrorist threats?

Wouldn't it be better if we knew that we would have the same leader ten years or even twenty years from now that we have today? We know that we are in this battle for the long haul. Why should the jihadis get to keep the same leaders why ours are subjected to the revolving door of democracy?

And all this whining about civil rights! What kind of civil rights would we have under an Islamic Caliphate or Sharia Law where Dhimmis will be treated as second or even third class citizens?

America was essentially one big militarized defense factory during WWII. Our so-called "basic liberties" were rightly thrown out the window by Lincoln during the Civil War. Why should we do any differently now that we are in a life-and-death struggle with Islamic terrorists?

From the link above:

This story is an example of the Demonic Convergence in action: nuclear weapons, the Iranian effort to destroy Israel, Chinese complicity in international terrorism, and the Somali pirates, all rolled into one.

Say “dirty bomb” and everyone gets in a tizzy. I don’t buy into the people getting sick and some dying.
