IIRC O’Reilly tried to level some sort of non-residency charge against Wexler for using his parent’s condo as his home of residence in the district. O’Reilly’s stuff was laughable, the charge might be embarassing but it wasn’t illegal. But this seems to a horse of an entirely different color. This indicates some sort of financial improprieties between Wexler and Newbridge Securities. And if the blog is true and it’s to cover up cash transactions and money laundering then Wexler could be facing indictment and serious charges sometime soon. Hopefully after the election, when it can be dragged out in the news longer and cause more embarassing questions.
