“The Greatest Generation” grew up in hard times, in a largely agrarian culture, working hard on the farm for their daily bread. After WWII, they quickly left the farms and relocated to the towns and cities. The had children, and not wanting them to have to work as hard as they, and wanting them to “have a childhood”, gave these spoiled brats (me included) everything they needed and then some without much effort being required of the brats other than the exertion of lifting their forks and spoons to their mouths. In turn, these brats had children who became increasingly “educated and refined”, but not educated in REAL American history, because of technology and soft parents and communist or leftist teachers in most cases.
We have allowed the education system to gradually be infiltrated by leftist professors and curriculum that is full of lies, and our culture to be distilled down to what we see and hear on the boob tube. We were distracted by the feminist definition of what a mother should be (a career woman, of course).

The younger generation may bring a much harder lesson upon themselves, and there may not be a Reagan immediately ready to rescue them from much worse than Carter was.
