Now you know I've posted a lot of things on Frank Marshall Davis. Obviously I was referring to the part about Davis being Obama's father. We have a mountain of solid stuff on this you-know-what. We don't need to keep reaching for far out things like this.

Sorry, but Frank Marshall Davis seems pretty benign to me. I see no hate, no political venom, only reaction to a very different world than we have today. I thought this video was favorable to the man and I find it difficult to think that he was much of a terrible influence to young Barry Obama (and certainly not his father, too old). The negatives were more the result of reading Malcom X, MLK, and Saul Alinskey.

Obama’s Red Mentor Praised Red Army

Barack Obama’s childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA, wrote a poem dedicated to the Soviet Red Army. “Smash on, victory-eating Red Army,” he declared. He also wrote poems attacking traditional Christianity and the work of Christian missionaries.

The “Red Army” poem goes beyond hoping for the communists to beat the Nazis in World War II and hails the Soviet revolution. It says:

Show the marveling multitudes
Americans, British, all your allied brothers
How strong you are
How great you are
How your young tree of new unity
Planted twenty-five years ago
Bears today the golden fruit of victory!

"through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his 'poetry' and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just 'Frank.'

The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations."

Frank Chapman, a CPUSA supporter, has written a letter to the party newspaper hailing the Illinois senator's victory in the Iowa caucuses:

"Obama’s victory was more than a progressive move; it was a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle. Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. This is the old revolutionary 'mole,' not only showing his traces on the surface but also breaking through."

Doesn’t look or sound like him to me. I think Obama looks like his father, the previous Barack Obama - and probably some of his mother’s family thrown in.

Completely different picture. I know he was a self-avowed communist, but to be accepted as a poet back in the 50’s 60’...I know that I would have prevented my child from having such an open relationship with this guy and it seems logical that young Barry was taken by his assumed wisdom.

Except for the obvious differences, Barack Obama is a near dead ringer for his grandfather, 'Stanley'. I don't see any significant resemblance to Frank Marshall Davis, or BHO Sr. I think he got his looks almost entirely from his mother's side.

OK, I may have exaggerated a bit that he’s a ‘near dead ringer’ for his grandfather, but he does definitely seem to share more features with members on his mother’s side of the family than with Sr. I agree he looks nothing like BHO Sr.

I have no doubt that he is his mother’s child. And I have little doubt that Hussein’s dad was Barack Sr. He just happens to have Frank’s ears.

Hey, I totally agree. In terms of facial structure (eyes, jaw, etc.), he absolutely IS a dead ringer for his maternal grandfather. Obviously, the African genes from Barack Sr resulted in darker skin and afro hair, but if you ignore those features, he’s actually the spittin’ image of Gramps Dunham.

The American people have have a right to have his birth certificate verified by the courts - the same as they did McCain's.

This is doubly important in light of the fake BC that he posted.

Of course, DAvis was born in Kansas (probably where he met ‘bamba’s grandparents) so that would make ‘bamba a U.S. citizen. Wouldn't it be ironic that, if DAvis was he father, and he's trying to cover up his mother's peccadillo’s and the circumstances of his parentage - that he would actually have clear legitimacy as to being a U.S. citizen but...he can't reveal it or prove it without a scandle

comical...maybe even poetic justice.
