Here is video of John McCain yesterday at a Town Hall Meeting where he twice told concerned questioners that Sen. Obama is a "decent family man," and that "you don't have to be scared of Sen. Obama as President."
He made the remarks as supporters told McCain in questions that they were "scared" of an Obama presidency. But rather than reassuring voters that the United States has withstood bad leadership before, and would do so again if Obama becomes President, McCain seemed to personally vouch for Obama.
Unfortunately, what Sen. McCain did directly undercuts the ads now running which call into question Obama's fitness for the office because of his radical associations with people like unrepentant terrorist William Ayers. Now, if McCain tries to raise questions about Obama's associations, all the Obama campaign needs to do is say, "You reassured your supporters that Obama is a 'decent man' and that there is no need to be scared of him as President.'" Not a good day for McCain on the trail. . . . . (Watch Video)

Three weeks before the election McCain dismisses the most basic beliefs of patriotic conservatives and endorses Barak Hussein Obama. Let the coronation of the messianic noOb begin.
ACORN's fraud won't matter, now, because McCain is losing the election all by himself.
What a complete and total moron for saying this. I want to type a stream of expletives here...but really, what's the point?
If he loses, he will probably put the “country first” and resign from the senate in rebuke, thus allowing Napolitano-D to appoint a successor lib to inch the Dems one vote closer to 60 in the senate. All in the name of bi partisanship.
F**K BIPARTISANSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“He doesnt really want to be president!”
AMEN! This is Dole 1996 Redux!
I think jimmur281974 is a TROLL, trying to stir things up here to make FR look bad...
My vote has been thrown under the straight talk express.
Mccain makes me sick. Everytime I am fired up he throw some cold water... What a jerk..
Lt’s play a little game of cards John.
In recent days I’ve actually been inclined to think of McCain as the Ross Perot of 2008
He's certainly got the giant sucking sound down pat
PALIN/McWhatshisname’08!
You get the feeling that the RNC wants to loose this election so as to give this crappy economy to the Dems. It may sound like a good political strategy (Dems get the blame for the tough times while the RNC cashes in on 2010 and 2012) but I don’t think that will fly....
1. Dems will blame this on the “Bush economy”
2. Reps are getting blamed for the housing debacle
3. You REALLY wanna give Barry and Co. control of this???
So, our grand republic wants its bread and circuses, free this and free that. Ya know, the former Eastern Block countries (with their low corporate and flat taxes) are starting to look good now. They seem to be going the free-market way while the west entagles itself into Socialism.
Let England be the test case. I’ve been reading that the best and brightest (those with wealth, skills and education) are starting to leave their country. It’s called “brain drain” and with the world becoming more global, this trend will only increase.
Hmmm..., we’ve got McCain voting for Obama now.
I like McCain even less now. I don’t know who is worse...
McCain wants to win, but only if he doesn't have to fight for it and get his hands dirty... He doesn't have the stomach for it
if he fights and damages Zero, he will be known by the media as the one who fought the nastiest campaign ever... If he doesn't fight, he'll take his chaces, and if he loses, the MSM will portray him as honorable, a war hero, as someone who stayed above the fray..
As a side benefit, he gets to stick both fingers in conservatives' eyes...
I thought Bush was bad by nt fighting back for 8 years, but this guy is a coward. A j-a of huge proportions... He will go down in a landslide, and take the whole party down with him, all across the country...
being in favor with the media is more important than fighting for a cause... I have NO respect for this horses a--... NONE
Unfortunately we must play the cards we hold. I LOVE AMERICA too much to simply stop fighting for her. Let’s keep the faith and keep on fighting. “NEVER GIVE UP!”
Check my blog. I’ve said two things for months:
1. This election is (was) McCain’s to lose.
2. He’s just the man who could do it.
He really, really didn’t hear the brother who begged him to “Fight” the other day. Talk like this just pees on the efforts of all the noble fighters and workers around the country to say nothing of his far-superior running-mate, Sarah Palin, who’s out campaigning like it matters, while McCain prepares his memoirs.
So... what are you saying?
(c;
I don’t think it was the RNC. They can’t do much about it. They didn’t elect McCain... It was millions and millions of FOOLS on our side, who thought an old, stiff, dumb as a rock Dem-in-GOP clothing could ever beat Hillary or Zero, in the difficult environment we had 6 months ago
it will show McCain to be 1. Hypocritical... 2. Confused and out of touch... 3. Two-faced and disingenous... 4. All of the above
Game over... Checkmate... Game Set Match...
there will be no October surprise folks... JM is running out the clock, and this loser doesn't realize he's 2 TDs down
Or 4. Leave it at “let’s be respectable and NOT admonish ZeroH’s accomplishments, cause he has NONE!!!
