In this regard, the most egregious comment of all was uttered by Governor of Kansas Kathleen Sebelius, who when asked why Sen. Obama was trailing in the polls, stated: “have any of you noticed that Barack Obama is part African-American?” (here )

Such a remark is reprehensible coming from a public official responsible for the welfare of her state. Would she incite racial antagonism in her state in order that a fellow Democrat could achieve high office? How about racial conflict if that candidate were to lose the election? In my view, such remarks are a dereliction of duty and the basis of impeachment. One can only hope that in the future, Ms. Sebelius is opposed in a primary election by a Black candidate; whereupon, one would presume she would automatically concede defeat, unless she is, of course, a racist.
