I was trying to explain to a friend of mine why the Leftist media has not come out about Bill Ayers, and is defending Obama. I explained very clearly, they believe what Bill Ayers did is a good thing.
Well, now there is a list of over 600 University Professors in support of Ayers.
Read the list and see where your money is going for your child's education.

I met Bill Ayers in 1968.
I was a student at CWRU in Cleveland and attended a small SDS meeting that Ayers and Terry Robbins came to address. Robbins was positively a psychopath. He had hollow rage-filled eyes and meeting him was one of the most profoundly scary encounters in my life. Ayers sat grinning with his stare fixated on some internal images, nodding in agreement as Robbins propounded the need for revolutionary violence. Their message was that change was going to come, by violent means because the democratic process was ineffectual at that particular historical moment.
Ayers’ goals have not changed one iota. Robbins died making a bomb that blew up in a NYC brownstone and reduced the building, and himself, to smithereens.

Ex-hippie radicals now in teaching positions at Colleges. Not surprised. And now they are in charge of teaching our youth. Too bad you can’t homeschool college!

Not much of a left-wing list if there's no one from Cornell on it.

Its true that Professor Ayers participated passionately in the civil rights and antiwar movements of the 1960s, as did hundreds of thousands of Americans.
i was one of those who participated passionately. But 'passionately' does not mean terrorism. It does not mean bombings. It does not mean killing people. My circle of friends involved numerous political activists and what would today be called 'community organizers' (mostly a sincere and well-meaning crowd), members of the SDS and some of the early participants in ACORN.
it was precisely at the point that the SDS' violence came to fruition at the University of Wisconsin (not my school) that I began to realize that the 'movement' had been hi-jacked by people who were hell-bent wrongfully motivated. "You don't need a Weatherman to tell which way the wind's blowing." (Dylan)
The difference between me and Bill Ayers is that I never killed anyone or advocated the killing of anyone. The difference between me and Bill Ayers is that I grew up and recognized that 'change' does not automatically come from marching in the streets, chanting slogans and singing songs. Instead of the cowardly, lazy and covert approach of truck and fire-bombing, the real alternative involves hard work, real sweat, real discipline and real intelligence.
Real change requires recognizing that the problems of this world are found in the heart of man and most importantly, recognizing the only one who can effect that change in the human heart.
It is a sign of the fact that our culture has moved so far away from that truth, that we could even entertain the possibility of electing someone whose nefarious association with a traitorous, domestic terrorist is proven beyond a reasonable doubt, despite what the mainstream media would have us believe.

College campi around the country are nothing more than a breeding ground of liberal, Democrat professors pushing their liberal anti-American beliefs on young minds. When I was in college, one professor asked the question, “What is the solution to our problems and our larger problems of racism in this country?” Then he walked to the chalkboard and wrote the word “Socialism.” It’s not surprising that the professor was black. I’m sure he’s pushing for Obama today on campus.

Being part of that crowd at one time, don’t these idiots realize that we got the guns and if they start trying to take over via revolution we’ll kill them, pure and simple?

That is precisely why they want to take over the government itself (such through electing someone like Obama). That way they get to have the bigger guns.

but they won’t. we can barely occupy a country the size of iraq and afford it with 100% military support. they will never be able to do that here if the population doesn’t lay down.
