Was Obama in the Senate in 2003? I don't think so. This is like Obama saying (intimating, really) that he was against the Iraq war--just says he was against it when McCain voted for it--intimating for those who can't do math that he voted against it.

Yes, he was in the Senate, the Illinois Senate where he voted to cut regulatory agency funding by over 10% while doubling the regulatory fees that financial institutions paid.

Okay--that clarifies.What I said about his Iraq stance stands. He wasn't in the US Senate, so what he would have done and how he felt is moot.
