I am shamelessly sharing my alternative Obama song. It aims at bathos. I imagine the theme from Rawhide, but I'm not sure of the tune, just the words:
The Legend of Obama
Travelin’ the range to make wrongs right Bringing HOPE where none’s in sight A bedroll for his bed tonight. Obama!
The legend of his hope proceeds him, He’s there when Ayers and Rezko needs him, ACORNS is enough to feeds him. Obama!
A lonely man with past unknown, An ego with a microphone, To let his scant career be known. Obama!
Don’t ask too closely - just elect him! With journalists sworn to protect him, He think we’re too dumb to detect him. Obama!
And so he rides, but legends say the Legend was unmasked one day and change brought change enough to say: So long, we’re onto to you - Obama.
The days still dawn and kids still sing but once again, of childish things. Not of the man who would be king
- what was his name? Oh yes. Obama.
darned formatting - should be quatrains - spoken in a voice like someone trying to sell you chili or a certain unnamed brand of picante sauce. Occasional whipcracks and six-shooters in background - swelling music where necessary:

It goes rather well with the theme from Bat Masterson, except you need the last line of each stanza to be something like “He’s Obama.... Hussein Obama”
