JEFFERSON CITY - Gov. Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on news reports that have exposed plans by U.S. Senator Barack Obama to use Missouri law enforcement to threaten and intimidate his critics.
“St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.
“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.
“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. McCulloch, Obama and the others is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election.
“Barack Obama needs to grow up. Leftist blogs and others in the press constantly say false things about me and my family. Usually, we ignore false and scurrilous accusations because the purveyors have no credibility. When necessary, we refute them. Enlisting Missouri law enforcement to intimidate people and kill free debate is reminiscent of the Sedition Acts - not a free society.”

This is not the only allegation of civil rights violations by the Obama campaign. Note that this comes from Obama's fellow Democrat, and it also should be circulated as widely as possible to remind Hillary Clinton's supporters that Obama may have effectively stolen the nomination.
Also, can some attorneys weigh in on whether the following might relate to the Obama campaign's alleged conduct, if proven true?
If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or
If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured—
They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.
Whoever, whether or not acting under color of law, by force or threat of force willfully injures, intimidates or interferes with, or attempts to injure, intimidate or interfere with— (1) any person because he is or has been, or in order to intimidate such person or any other person or any class of persons from— (A) voting or qualifying to vote, qualifying or campaigning as a candidate for elective office, or qualifying or acting as a poll watcher, or any legally authorized election official, in any primary, special, or general election; (
...shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if bodily injury results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both...

So if I’m driving on I-40 or Route 66 sporting a ‘McCAIN/PALIN ‘ or ‘ObamaMarxist’ or ‘Hussein stole Hill’s Coronation’ bumper sticker I will likely be pulled over and searched for displaying and carrying material considered ‘subversive’to the future thug-in- chief.

I really like the way they call themselves the “Truth Squad”. I wonder if a conservatives uses that phrase, if the Obama camp will say it’s somehow racist because it evokes the image of the guy with the ‘fro on the old series Mod Squad?
Godwin’s Law does not apply when someone acts like a genuine Nazi. I think the Obama campaign qualifies for the latter—its alleged behavior differs little from that of the Nazis during the early 1930s.

I am starting to get frustrated. There is SO much out there that would prevent Obama from winning this election, but the McCain campaign has barely touched any of it.
Where is the official, McCain endorsed advertisement using Barack’s words about Rev. Wright being his mentor, the smiling picture of Barack with Rev. Wright, concluding with the chilling audio of the good Reverand screaming “G** Damn America!”
Where is the official, McCain endorsed ad quoting Obama’s chilling words about the infant born alive act after he heard testimony from a nurse whgo would comfort the dying children in the hospital dumpster room?
Where is the official, McCain endorsed ad spelling out the Ayers connections, and then explaining exactly who Ayers is.
These better be ready to be rolled out very soon, before people cement their voting preferences.
This is not the time to make lame ads about pork barrell spending, or the nuances of the bailout, or even the nuances of military strategy. This is the time to hammer this man for his sordid past and associations. NOW. If it doesn’t happen, it is political malpractice of the highest order.

This is MacRanger of Macsmind. As you know I was hacked by operatives of the Obama Campaign last month. Well, it happened again. Basically they flooded the site with “sql bombs” according to the host that caused the shared server to stop running. Subsequently be had to disable the site. This had to do with running the “Obama wants to Disarm America” post which more than 2 million people viewed on the site. Just like the goons in Missouri, the Obama truthers can’t let the truth be known. I’ve now moved the blog back to blogspot at macsmind.blogspot.com at least temporally. Because of the hacking job I had to move to another host but unfortunately they haven’t got the server up yet to redirect the traffic to blogspot. I would appreciate a mention to your readers. I’m getting a couple of hundred emails about “what happened”, but as you can imagine it hard to get the word out by reply.

The bigger shame is any law enforcement official allowing himself to be used in such a manner. Sheriff’s and Chief’s of Police are political animals, let them know your displeasure! Start on the local level, then contact your local County Prosecutor, he’s also a political animal, let him know and hear your anger over this.
Since I do part time bailiff work on the County level, I will be speaking to several judges including JPs, the County prosecutor and other attorneys. Do not be intimidated about talking to these people, I think you will find that most are on your side and that a little bit of encouragement will help them become more confident.
