While many more people read NRO than visit our Queendom (alas and to their detriment), not all of NROs readers visit the Bench Memos Blog. Check out this article, referenced and linked, on a possible case to come before The Holy Nine in the upcoming judicial season. Perhaps we wont get a reversal on Roes decree that a fetus is not a person, but we may get a ruling that from the moment of conception, what lives in a woman is unique, separate and human:

With the wealth of stuff that appears on NRO on any given Fridaylet alone one as busy as yesterdayreaders might easily have missed Sheila Liaugminass fine article on a case the Supreme Court may take up in its coming term. (I missed this article myself until this morning.) As Liaugminas points out, Acuna v. Turkish raises the question whether the violence done by Roe v. Wade extends so far that the Constitution may now be treated by judges as a barrier to telling the truth.

Sorry the links didn’t pull through from my blog. Go to the Queendom or go to nationalreview.com and check out the Bench Memos blog. Let’s keep our fingers crossed the Supremes agree to hear this and then are guided by truth and science and not some fear of breaching the holy writ of Roe v Wade.
