Hollywood Elitist Matt Damon is "Terrified" of Gov. Sarah Palin - Video
Blogs for John McCain ^ | September 10, 2008 | brianinmo

If you needed another reason to vote for McCain / Palin, actor and Hollywood elitist Matt Damon gives it to you (see video) in comments he made about Gov. Sarah Palin. Damon, it turns out, is "terrified" by Palin, as I'm sure many other Hollywood types are. After all - they have invested too much in The Messiah, assuming he would cakewalk to victory on November 4. Now that it appears he has a fight on his hands, they are "terrified" by a former "small town" mayor, hockey mom and Governor of Alaska. His condescension is palpable in the video, even as he supports a candidate who has ZERO executive experience for President. Damon is a total moron. Hopefully, many other of his ilk will dismiss and disrespect Gov. Sarah Palin. It adds votes to her column every time they do. . . . (see video at link)

I guess my children won’t be able to see any of his films.

This will be the end of Matt Damon. No one in my family will ever watch him again. We hope he dies poor.

He got famous after he and Affleck wrote Good Will Hunting : I hated that flick. If you watch the closing credits, right at the end they thank Allen Ginsberg and Timothy Leary.

Nuff said.

If he had an argument that made sense I wouldn't mind. Like a typical liberal he ignores that fact that Obama has less experience and the media refuses to vet him and when FOX and conservative radio does so democrats scream foul.

Mr. Damon, since you are so incompetent to comment on this election I can't go to your movies becaue I'll remember how ill informed you are.

The rumor is that the script went through a lot of polishing from script doctors.

Interesting. Matt Damon says he doesn't want Sarah Palin facing down Vladimir Putin.

I bet Putin doesn't either.

If you run the actuary tables there is a 100% chance that Matt Damon is a tool.

I do agree with him on one point and I don’t care if I get flamed about it.

Is she a wacky creationist in the extreme that she believes the earth is only 5,000 years old? If she does, I don’t want her to have the nuclear codes either.

I’ll still vote McCain, but I won’t like it.

And how exactly does a particular, even if strange, idea about creation or the age of the Earth have any bearing on suitability to have access to the nuclear codes? Are we really supposed to believe that she will be sitting there with the button and say: "Well, since the dinosaurs were alive only four thousand years ago, I think I will blow up Russia!" Somehow I just don't think so.

Now, of course that is to leave untouched that I have never seen a bit of evidence that Sarah Palin actually thinks these things. What this sounds to me like is a Hollywood moron just deciding, in typical bigoted fashion, that a church-going Christian must think that. Of course, it also leaves unspoken the admission that these people know Obama is a fraudulent Christian since, even after going on and on about his deep, personal faith, nobody ever seems to assume that he holds any odd, by secular standards of course, beliefs. Funny how that works.

So, Matt, you don't think that overly religious people should have access to nuclear weapons? It may be dangerous? Really? It 'terrifies' you? Can't trust those religious zealots, can we? Too risky.

That being the case, I trust we can count on your support for when we need to take action against Iran. Isn't that right, Matt?

Maybe Matt Damon would be comforted to know that Sarah hunts Moose, not Jackasses..

If you read my post I said “if”. I don’t know if she believes the earth is only 5,000 years old. If she does, I hope she keeps it quiet.

For me this goes to credibility. How can an intelligent person reject decades of scientific discovery because the Bible says otherwise. Flame away, but that’s scary.

How do you have an intelligent conversation with someone who thinks people and dinosaurs walked the earth at the same time?

AGAIN, I don’t know if she believes this. I just hope she doesn’t.

I agree absolutely such a thing goes to credibility, and if it happens to be true then she should would be very wise to keep such to herself. Of course, I also see no reason to assume it is true, and hope it isn’t.

But, I was not trying to suggest that there was no problem with this attitude, should it exist. It is the specific response that bothers me, and that being about access to the “nuclear codes.” I might worry about how such a person would react to reasonable economic theories and their application given facts known to us right now. I could also worry about how one may handle ecological concerns, or any number of situations really. After all, anyone able to hold to such absurd notions against such a massive preponderance of evidence is certainly capable of credulity. But, nuclear codes? That is just not what comes to mind. I really doubt that just because this person thinks the earth is only so many years old that this means that they are itching to nuke somebody. Of all the possible objections this is the least likely to be pertinent, and smacks of typical leftist scare-tactics and bigoted anti-believer attitudes. While Matt Damon goes on about things being like a bad movie, that is the most Hollywood thing of all. How typical for a villainous politician who is a crazed evangelical type and is seeking to start the end times.

The funny thing about this interview is he starts off saying: I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HER

Note to Matt Damon:

There is a website called google.com, it will link you to all kinds of information from both sides of the aisle. You can read newspapers, magazines, opinions, you can even see THE BUDGET OF ALASKA.

Instead of repeating rumors, perhaps you should EDUCATE yourself.
