This is how the Kerry campaign dissolved.

Your memory maybe a bit short. The way I remember it, Kerry came within a whisker of winning, thanks to vote fraud in at least 5 states. Had he spent another $20 million from his campaign coffers, who the hell knows? Instead, he decided to keep the money. It's perfectly legal, by the way. I reckon Kerry figured he might lose anyway, and the money was safer in his pocket. Where it still is. (Just ask any Democratic Candidate who asked for some.)

But any time you get 49.97% of the electorate to buy your ridiculous bullshiite, fraudulently or otherwise, your campaign didn't dissolve. You lost a close one that really could have gone either way. So, don't sell The Magic Marxist Mulatto Messiah short, just yet.

Sober up and remember that Gore and Kerry both achieved a photo finish. It occurs to me that the same fools amongst our fellow citizens who cast away their ballots on them haven't exactly gotten any wiser since 2004, and the Democrats still have the same master vote stealers on duty in the big states, with brand new computers to conjure up phantom voters, reach the dead old reliables, and buy plenty of gas for the precinct-cruising vans from The First Abyssinian Baptist Church of What's Happenin' Now. Throw in some genuine freshly minted Fast Eddie Rendell re-usable absentee ballots, and lots of live and dead Mexicans ... and Oh Boy, you could wake up to Obama!

McCain and Palin still have to sink a tricky 6-foot putt. Closer than before, but no gimme, pal.
