I always cringed during the debates when he'd go "uhmm, uhmmm" and go into a two-minute answer instead of a thirty-second answer for his main point. I'm sure George Bush would give him some pointers on how to speak.

I know the two positions are differentWell, according to the Democrats, one of Senator Obama's qualifications for the Presidency is the fact that he's been running for President for two years.

I honestly don’t pay attention to polls. It’s the Presidential campaign internals that tell the story and we don’t get to see those. If the DUmmies and Kos Kids are going to pin their hopes on polls, there will be plenty of alternate jubilation and suicides by November.

Maybe I'm a pessimist but there was nothing in that convention, except Palin, that could have created a bounce for McCain. If she hadn't been there, this would probably be over now. Imagine if McCain had picked Lieberman--you think there'd have been a bounce? It's the powerful boost that Palin gave the Republican narrative that is driving the poll numbers, and it could--who knows--get even worse. Someone get this DUmmie a kewpie doll for having a moment of clarity.

I love the many, many posts on DU constantly advising throwing dirt at a Republican, even if untrue-in fact, the more untrue, the better, Don’t they know this will ultimately bite them in the azz by undermining their credibility with real people (ie not the liberal media)?

MAN... You are gonna have SO MUCH material to work with over the next 2 months, you’re going to have a hard time trying to sort through the most ridiculous and hilarious garbage flying from the DUmpster!
The bigger the spread in the polls, the better material you’re gonna get!

I saw a Quadafi video in which he said that there needs to be a 'clearance sale' ....and I could not agree more....hahaha! ;)
((Of course, Quadafi is Pro-Obama however, says he does not know a thing about international politics....especially the Middle East. What a shining endorsement!))

Specifically, we need to arm ourselves with all the information we can get regardless of if it is nasty or not. You never know what will turn a person you are trying to convince. I'm not saying to encourage things we know are not true, but we need to know these people who want to run our country inside and out. And personal lives are the true windows into what a person believes. Anyone can say whatever they want, but when you look at how they live that is the only truth there is. We cannot make anything out of bounds. That is what makes me pissed off...people who say "we're too good for that". BAH! Too stupid to realize that each new personal attack on Palin makes her more sympathetic to the public. It all just blends together and becomes noise, and she looks better and better for it. I hate to make the comparison, but the process is very similar to the way that new charges against Bill Clinton for personal offenses only made him more popular. Once the public senses that a political figure is being unfairly picked on, they stop listening, and attacks have the exact opposite effect.
Wake up folks. We gotta get the message out. Mobilize our friends in the media.
But I thought that all the media was controlled by the evil Karl Rove/Rupert Murdoch conspiracy?

That bit of spin - as far as I can tell - was first floated August 29 by the execrable Greg Valliere on CNBC in a conversation with Maria Bartiromo about Sarah Palin.
Bartiromo and her other guests laughed nervously as he went on and on. None bothered to directly refute him - perhaps because they were surprised that he was displaying his stupidity so openly.

Axelrod is Incompetent. I would rather have a 2nd year business consultant at McKinsey run his campaign, then Axelrod. In fact, if Axelrod deferred to some of the McKinsey people on his staff, we wouldn't be in this bind. You know, there's a young fella on the staff working quietly behind the scenes who has shown a lot of promise. He may be able to step in for Axelrod and salvage this mess. Think he goes by the name of Grove....Kurt Grove! Yeah, that's him.

who cares... this is just his RNC bounce... it is expected... Ummm...wasn't The Obamessiah also supposed to get a bounce, DUmmies and KOmmies? Why don't you tell me what happened to THAT.
Glad you dodged this one, PJ. Several of my relatives and a friend in Florida dodged Ike, too, but now Ike is headed toward more relatives in the New Orleans and Houston areas, as well as some friends and co-workers in Houston.
