At some point, there will be a meaningful and decisive conclusion to this trend. The resulting depth of discomfort and duration thereof will depend on many variables. However, we are one very unknown variable. So far, we have operated with restraint and to a large degree will continue to do so. But they're not making it easy. At some point, if they keep this up, we'll break from our current pattern of restraint and then nobody will be happy for a time...us included.
