My ex mother in law, a staunch republican who is behind McCain but wanted Romney as VP. She is sick. She is upset. I’ve tried to console her and point out that Palin was a gutsy pick, but she and Mac represent as much change, actual change...that Obamamites can ever dream of.

But I’m sure there are many who feel like she does. That Palin is just a pretty face who has babies...An air head.

SNL I am sure will have a field day with her...but I can’t wait to see the actor with the bad plugs mimicking Biden.

It will be WW3 if anyone attacks Sarah, she earned the nickname “Barracuda” in high school because of her skills at basketball.

she earned the nickname “Barracuda” in high school because of her skills at basketball.

And apparently the nickname was resurrected when she was elected mayor. She's tough.

But honest. Obama, meanwhile, is such a wimp he couldn't even control his own convention.

Liberal? In a few places. Where it matters - life - he has a near perfect record. Ditto on defense. And taxes. Certainly way more conservative than Obambi/Biden.

I think you ex MIL will come around once she reads up on Palin and sees her on TV. And tell her the ticket now is two liberal lawyers versus a Navy Academy grad and a blue-collar gal who went to the University of Idaho and owned her own business. It’s about time there was a challenge to the elite orthodoxy.

And he is showing a mastery of generalship...

Indeed anyone familiar with military planning for an operation will see its influence on the conduct of the McCain campaign. Brilliant!

I believe that Sarah will be able to run for president in 4 years. That is what the MSM is really afraid of. They (MSM) have already conceded this election the McCain.

Amazing VP pick. Time will if it is smart or not. I love the fact that she is not an ATTORNEY.

I’m absolutely jazzed about the election now. Palin is smart, sharp, tough - a true conservative. She fills the gaps in many ways for McCain... everyone around here in my household was just beaming after the announcement.

Savage is a ranting, spittle spewing moron.

Let’s turn on the radio and give a listen to another edition of the Savage Nation:

...and now more psychological nudity with Michael Savage!

I can’t take it anymore!! But wait, I don’t want to discuss that now, let’s listen to Tiny Tim singing Tip Toe Through the Tulips for a while. No one sings like that anymore. I love my dog. I hate the pornographers, well except for Girls Gone Wild since my son who runs Rockstar energy drink advertisements on GGW videos. Ah, my body is slowly dying, I think my butt is numb. But I still know the secret to making a good pasta sauce. Should I tell the story of the One Legged Grasshopper and the Hiking Boot? Ah well you already know how that story ends. Let’s move on the something interesting. I’m bored. I’M SUFFERING FROM TOURETTES SYNDROME!!!! Nothing interested me anymore except my toe hairs.

Tune in tomorrow for another edition of the Savage Nation!

I can only listen to this nut job once every three months, and only near the end so I can actually listen to the Jim Bohannon Show that can at least sound intelligent.

Governors are amazingly involved in foriegn affairs actually. In issues like trade, cultural excahnges, etc. Governors can and do engage in international negotiations and discussions.

From the positive reaction on FR it would seem that this pick was the best possible one.

Not only does it shore up McCain's right wing, but it also drains some of the disaffected Hillary voters away from voting for Obama.

The reason the MSM is apoplectic is because they were hoping that the GOP would be as divided as the Democrat's are.

A united GOP wins every time.

Heads up.

The first measurement is out of Rasmussen this morning.

No change to the Obama lead post Palin-announcement. The most she did was trample on any uptick he may have seen from his speech.

just a few days later and I’m as jazzed about Palin as ever. And, yes, she’s caused me to look closer at McCain.
