Bowyer: How Palin Will Help McCain
Posted By:Jerry Bowyer on CNBC Guest Comments
**************************EXCERPT**********************
Its a big day for John McCain. Its a big day for Sarah Palin. And its a big day for CNBC and Larry Kudlow of CNBCs Kudlow & Company. The vast majority of mainstream media hovered like flies around Tim Romnlenty (or is it Mitt Pawmney?). This is about the biggest case of received-wisdom-wrong-again in my memory. A small number of big-time media outlets were talking about Palin, and probably none of them was further out ahead on this one than Kudlow. Guys, take a victory lap. I may take one myself.
Now, what does it mean. It means that drill, drill, drill gets stronger. Sarah knows this stuff inside and out. She can back McCain in the defense of drilling, transporting and refining oil. She puts ANWR back on the map. Who
Thanks Ernest. With this pick McCain gets everyone who wants to drill, more than half of the women who had perhaps planned to vote Demwit or were on the fence, NRA members, and slaps the otherwise irrelevant Euro-observers — all the while energizing prolife, Catholic, and evangelical voters. She can insistently and calmly remind all of the Russian threats to the oil supply and gas supply to Europe, and how the US needs more domestic production to heat homes, transport families, and maintain US sovereignty.
ANY argument against her is an argument against Obama — unless it’s about her gender, and even Obamaniacs don’t dare go there.
Just A Reminder To The Media and Freepers Regarding Biden and Palin

It always goes like this. We are forced to chose the lesser of two evils and then the lesser throws the consistent conservatives a bone just trying to make "the base" feel better.
Well, I do feel more gooder after dreading a vote against Barockobama by voting for MickyMouseMaverick McCain and having watched 4 days of bilious barfing by bogus Democrats and then seeing McCain just suck all the oxygen out of the whole Dem dubious CONvention with SUPER SARAH... WOW!!!
Now, instead of holding my nose, I'm going to vote the ticket and then HOLD MY BREATH till McCain's time is over!!!
Thrilling, yes!!! Satisfying, NO!!! "I can't git no... Satisfaction..."
“Thrilling, yes!!! Satisfying, NO!!! “I can’t git no... Satisfaction...””
The worst part is, Waspman, where you and I live it will make no difference who we vote for. They’ll name a state, Florida, Ohio...whatever and it will be decided before any media even mentions us. Stupid California will go dem anyway, as usual.
I can never seem to do anything about macro politics outside of CA and really only have control of micro politics within my local community, in fact even within my own family.
So, since people have died for my right to vote a secret ballot, I do the best I can, with what little I have to work with and hope for the best!!!
As Barockobama says... "You're on yer own!!!"
And that is EXACTLY the way I want it to stay!!!
That's the main reason I'm a consevative!!! (but you knew that already)
Have any of you heard anything on how she stands on the horrible American invasion by illegal immigration???
And am about to shut down and do errands,....system is way too slow right now.
Thanks! Have a superior weekend, Sir!!!
System is horrid right now,...can’t even tell when you actually get a successful post...there are going to be lots of double posts....
“Have any of you heard anything on how she stands on the horrible American invasion by illegal immigration”
Not much out there. Alaska doesn’t have the problem the rest of us do. This is a second hand account, I don’t have a membership to Ingraham’s site to verify. I wish we knew more.
Laura Ingraham from a few months ago: “So, back to the Veepstakes. Sarah Palin: I like her. (Producer: Babe) Well, she is. Shes a beautiful woman, but shes also a conservative. Her husband, I think is a shrimper? (pause) Hes a fisherman. Im not kidding you, and they go out and fish on the weekends. Hes a commercial fisherman. Im telling you, I think that sells. That sells a lot more than my friends and comprehensive immigration reform. And shes not for comprehensive reform, I can tell you that right now. Shes sick to death of this immigration nonsense in the United States.”

No, but she has been bit by the global warming bug. I’m not sure how deep it goes.

Gov. Sarah Palin plans to explore ways Alaska can reduce its own greenhouse gas emissions as part of a global-warming strategy to be developed by a new subcabinet of top administration officials.
State officials said this week that Palin’s new subcabinet will develop policies to help the state adapt to climate changes that have been more pronounced in Alaska than elsewhere.
For the first time, the state will also begin looking for ways to curb Alaska’s own contribution to the global atmospheric problem, officials said.
The state’s interest in curbing emissions represents a new emphasis for Palin, who pronounced herself unconvinced about global warming science during her campaign for governor last year.
A sharp stick in their friggin eye.......
Got to hear Sarah on the drive this morning, she sounded great. Very inspiring as voting for John was another 'block the Dem' choice 'till I heard her. She sounded like someone I could vote 'for', which hasn't happened in a while.
McCain just iced the Clinton's with this pick. Suppose they lose, Barack gets two terms- No time For Hillary. Suppose they win, John goes one term, Sarah gets the nod in '12 and Hillary won't want to be seen anywhere near a stage with her on it- No Time For Hillary. Brilliant!
In fact, the Dems who hate Hill and Bill the way most thinking Americans do owe John big time for this.
“WAAAAAHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!! WHAT A PICK
A sharp stick in their friggin eye.......”
Look at the responses on this board and those going to Michelle Malkin’s poll.
Most of us are stoked across the FR board. My wife is really excited about Sarah, so are her friends and their adult daughter, and her SIL’s and our DIL.
